    The cause of the high compression will more than likely be due the head being skimmed to much in the past. When forging go for a 1.6mm or 1.9mm head gasket to bring the compression back down.

    Its the rods that will give up after 1.2+ bar of boost but should make good power safely at 1bar with a billet td04.

    gp82 ran 13 seconds flat on uniroyal rainsports @ 1 bar on a VF turbo.

    the ratchet strap is an old school handling mod. believe or not people used to use straps when drag racing and also used to use them on the suspension coils to adjust ride height. but i have not come across this in like 15+ years
