getting a wideband would help you assess the situation. If you current narrowband sensor turns out to be faultysome of the widebands come with a 0-1v narrowband emulation then you can use that instead of the standard lambda. you would need to get the bung welded in so it can be fitted further down the exhaust. How is your driving? do you use boost a lot? are you running higher boost? RRFPR?

He wasn't in when I called by the way, I'll try again today. I'm surprised no one else that owns a glanza hasn't just gone out and taken a pic lol
-
Depends on mileage and how hot the engine has been running.. They tend to go hard and break when you try to remove them. The one I took of a 54k 1.0 engine was piss easy to remove, looked new and was still soft and flexible
-
yeah my lambda isn't at the manifold.. It's just before the cat on the mid pipe. I know for normal gt/glanzas it's on the cat pipe from turbo

I just mean for the future! ;)

If you got a wideband you could get the AEM UEGO. It has a 0-1v emulation that you can feed the ecu.. Thats what ill be doing as ill be swapping the narrow band sensor for the wideband as i dont want to mess around fitting it elsewhere..

People think they are having issues with there lambda.. most of the time they arent. The lambda only effects normal driving like cruising or off/very light boost driving. If it is giving incorrect redings the car will either over fuel or run lean in that specific part of the map. Without the lambda you wont get as good mpg (at that part of the map) At WOT/Boost the ecu doesnt use the lambda to adjust fueling at all. This is where most people have the problem and assume its the lambda because thats what everyone does lol

Once you go into open loop (on boost/wot) it shouldn't make a difference bud. If your still down on power there you have other problems

I hadn't seen a few of those pics from that meet! Really doesn't feel like that long ago! Too bad about the rain but what a day that was!! The cars looking good as it always does mate ;)

Ahh I managed to take mine off without removing the inlet. Really annoying as I put the engine together on the ground and it all seemed good.. Oh well the joys of it!! Have to buy more coolant now too because I didn't manage to catch all of it
-
Yeah standard fpr is best for these the more you drive it the better it will get. One of the lads here has a palsport ecu and it took a good while for what seemed like a miss to disappear.. Good weekends mixed driving!
-
Fair enough!! Didn't think it would be a good idea to put sealant in there incase you get any rogue bits lol I'll try that next! Just need to sort the sheared bolt now!
-
Is it possible to get these new? I have a leak there, I swapped out the pipes for another that looked like it had one in good condition but the leak stayed.. Also sheared off the bracket to hold the pipe in place.. What a day!!!!!

Standard fuel pressure though ya? If so that rules that out

No your supposed to wire the emanage blue into the harness and then plug the harness between ecu and loom..
-
i already gave you the perfect way to do it and you could use the money you would have spent on a runaround to buy parts!
-
Do you have a glanza or a gt? The field harness is different for both as the ecu has 3 connections on a glanza and 2 on a gt. The emanage needs wiring into the harness that then should plug straight in between the loom and ecu if you have the right one
-
I'll go up town and take a picture of the wiring on my buddy's V in a bit for ya..
-
mot it, drive it as a daily and collect parts at the same time.. Take it off the road when your ready to build it.

Ive never seen any in an ep82 either

Sorry I couldn't help ;)
