also it worrys me that they have boosted it about before they have set it up correctly and already done damage

so it just needs a 70 quid fuel pump, then how much roughly to set up the apexi neo, so it will be safe as long as i dont go over 0.6bar until then

how much is the fuel pump roughly and how much are you expecting from 0.8/1 bar cheers

would u need bigger injectors its got a rrfpr but i would get an aftermark ecu in maybe 2months i wouldnt want it more then 220bhp as dont want to forge it

just got another reply from him... he said ... new turbo fitted running at 0.6 would need the apexi neo setting up correctly , is this correct cause it has a fcd so i thought you could just turn it up to 1bar and ideally get a new ecu

i'm considering buying a td04 starlet off a trader, he said to me that it had a standard ct9 and now they put a td04 in it, but as they just swapped it over, the boost need setting up correctly . can somone expain what this means .. does it sound dodgey ps. sorry for my grammar but keyboad battries nearly dead

Congrats, my sister passed her theory test today, she got 49/50.... don't know how as i was driving the other day behind somone at 40 on a single carriageway and she was like FFS this is a 70mph LOL

what you get for 10 or 20 quid is pretty irrelevant as there as so many factors, in my 170bhp gt turbo i wouldnt get anything less then 32mpg, and that was 50% boosting about with some town driving etc, no motorway journeys at all

don't blame you,i think most people hate the fact that starlets are FWD, yet it makes them more of a challenge to drive which makes you enjoy them more i'm on my hunt for my 2nd

What are peoples opinion on buying from a trader? last time i bought from a trader it turned out he bought a bmw with a Headgasket failure and chucked some jollop in there and sold it to me at full price....I phoned a trader selling a starlet today and he didnt know much about the car, apart from he said " we put a new TD04 on it, its been reconditioned and you can see that, he said the boost hasnt been setup cause its literally just been installed, and that i need to get that sorted, i dont really know what he means by that

atleast 40k...... split the bits and return it to standard, or just check autotrader for prices?
