  1. Make sure the carbon is not exposed. a bit of peel is much easier to sort than if the laquer has completely flaked off. If it's just peel, it would be a case of flatting it all, going over it with a fine grit then re-laquering it. maybe worth getting prices from bodyshops as getting a good finish might be a bit difficult without baking etc
  2. Awesome will make a great littel project from someone. I want a 3 door salmon, there's one on ebay now at £500ish and i would pay that but it's absolutely miles away
  3. I have a corolla manifold, will get pics tonight
  4. I've had disasters with most couriers like Yodel, Parcelforce, TNT... Now I always use APC when sending large parcels of high value. They've always been absolutely spot on and reasonably priced. Although recently they lost one of my parcels that was very very valuable. I was very annoyed and totally stressed out about it. the depot had me on the phone every hour though and they were very honest and helpful. Turned up within 48 hours- they delivered it accidently as part of a multidrop to a business on the same road. It was all resolved the following day and they gave me about £50 worth of
  5. Yeah i want an S bonnet for my V they are the best looking bonnet available i think. ID workz don't do a rep though and they're discontinued so i'll have to stick with the standard V bonnet
  6. Awesome wasn't sure if they were gramlites. They look awesome i love it! want that bonnet though!
  7. Yeah to be honest i post a lot of big parcels with APC and there's never been an issue with damage, but i do understand if you don't want the hassle of posting it out that's fair enough haha
  8. Ill have it dude PM me your paypal
  9. Those wheels look awesome! what are they? LOVE gold/bronze wheels on a black car!
  10. Yeah much prefer the R32, R33's are common and don't look that aggressive i don't think. Same alloys as my GT!
  11. Welcome, Glanza looks sweet, amybe another meber who might come to a local meet? I'm from Hull, there are a few starlets in hull but not many on the forum really.
  12. I think MOST reliability issues stem from people messing with them! Mine was solid as a rock until i got it mapped by TD then within a month the bottom end went and then a month after that it melted all the pistons... lol. Since then it's had a total overhaul and been mapped by a very reputable mapper (will at RDT) and it's spot on now!
  13. If you're on a very tight budget how about just leaving it standard? There are some small cheap mods you can do to make it handle better etc but they're pretty fun standard!
  14. Plans for the GT; - Spray and fit the tom's spoiler when it arrives - Full service - Respray front lip - Maybe get rear spats and the other style livesports front lip (seeing as i have spare front rear bumpers to fit them to) Plans for the Glanza; - Spray Roof and flat/buff/polish rear quarters - Get engine and 6 speed box in (ready to go in, just about) - Fit all the shiny bits (braided fuel lines, race spec rocker, clear timing cover, etc etc) - Get all the brakes and stuff sorted (new copper lines all round, fit the rebuilt callipers and new handbrake cables etc) - Sort
  15. I have a red EP81 too (even though I call it the EP80 and mines a 5 door), awesome cars. Not worth a fortune really, a nice tidy one might go for £500.
  16. i hope whoever buys it keeps it standard! would be a shame to turbo it really as they are so rare
  17. Just got a rep one from id workz and the fitment is perfect. Can understand people wanting a genuine plastic one but just another option to bear in mind!
  18. The lad i share my unit with has a proper recovery wagon but it's just the absolute hassle of going to pick it up. think i'm going to go boosted EP70 for the next project when the glanza is on the road, unless one comes up a little closer...
  19. Iwas seriously considering the ep85 as long as it came with the full drivetrain inc gearbox and the 4wd sump but it's sooooo far away
  20. Yeah when i took my crank in to park engineering, they measured it up and it was within tolerance on the main and rod journals but then after they polished it up they advised that it was still within tolerance but only just and said i would be better going for oversize bearings (they reground and polished again to suit the oversize bearings at a very good price as I was a bit put out as I ordered the standard bearings on their initial recommendation lol).
