funny onion

it's cheaper/easier to source another block/crank if you do buy the rods and pistons and bearings first then the machine shop tell you they are outside tolerances i suppose. but as above, if you go for 74.5mm pistons and give the spec sheet to the machine shop you know it will have been machined properly to spec... same with oversize bearings. I've been thinking about building a forged engine for a while but i'm sure people like taggy and turbo grant will be able to advise properly

I got one off ebay in the end- Luke sent me a link to one via PM which was very nice of him but just search for corolla G6 gearbox They will have a specific code like the starlet boxes do but I have no idea what it is maybe Luke could answer that. There was a thread on here regarding ratios, have a search/google.

I think it should be a mandatory field on a for sale thread that states collection only. If people want collection only on parts they should state the location. The amount of PM's i've had to send to find out where people are and it turn out they are miles away :/

yup same is mine. scuttle panel or the blanking grommet on the firewall lettign water through i'd say.

The scuttle panel on my GT wasn't seated properly and this caused mine to leak into the passenger footwell.
