  1. yeah but worth getting it checked, i don't rate plug and plays for that reason. just check the obvious stuff, set the TPS with a multimeter, set base timing up with a timing light etc and get the map checked. if it's not misfiring then i wouldn't panic like mad but it is a bit rich and you don't want bore wash lol just boost everywhere haha
  2. the beige is metallic and slightly pearl too though- said he wants to avoid that due to cost and would need to also buy lacquer then too. But i do agree would be cool lol
  3. Could be the reason. That's why everyone says never fit an ecu that has someone elses map on it. i'd get the map checked but it could also be TPS i suppose
  4. did you have the emange mapped or have you just fitted it with the map already on?
  5. Don't get me started on colours hahaha. Got to love 040 for it's crispness but would be nice to see a flat dark gunmetal grey colour. has to be reasonably dark though...
  6. Item For Sale: EP82 clear indicators (genuine toyota) Item Condition & Description: Excellent condition but personally prefer the amber look hence why i'm selling these. The actual lens is clear and they can be split and the orange film inside removed to make them totally clear. They are genuine toyota indicators and fit perfectly as you would expect. Tried a few of the ebay specials myself and none of them fit remotely like the oem ones! Sorry but before anyone asks i'm NOT willing to split! Price: SOLD Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: delivery included in
  7. Not bad to do really. Bung is welded on the mid section on mine, sensor sits just behind the gear box so the wires come stright up and through the AC gromet on the firewall and into the car. Ran it behind the dash (behind the stereo and clocks) to the gauge which is on the A pillar.
  8. Awesome day and weather asn't as bad as I thought it would've been! good to see so many starlets and good to see some on the track.
  9. I can't afforrrdddd itttt but I wasn't tt ittttt lol *want lol phone can't cope
  10. I'm 99% sure i have a set. I had issues with the speedo not working so i bought some new clocks, turns out the cable had just popped out the back when i went to swap them for the new ones. was a facepalm moment lol.
  11. Hairsign has one for sale
  12. I think I have a set I'll look later today
  13. if you just fitted a turbo then it would blow up very quickly. with all supporting mods and low boost it should be ok. Don't be tempted to run anything about 0.5 bar id say on an na engine. personally would swap a 4efte in if you want to go turbo as thats what youll end up doing in the end anyways i reckon ...
  14. oh right i wasn't aware of that, learn something new everyday haha. GT for the win then lol i'm not a fan of massive stretch really not ideal. bit of flaring needed by the sounds of it then on a glanza
  15. massive want for this but i need to stop buying bumpers and body panels. if you've not sold it by weekend i might have it at japfest!
  16. I have 15" 8j et17 work wheels on my GT and with 185/55 tyres on and D2 coilovers not ridiculously low theyre not bad at all. panhard rod is a must obviously. the main issue i had was the tread on the front was poking way out from under the arch when i test fitted them with the tyres they came with (205/55's). 185/55 or even 175/55 tyres would be a must though i think or run some reasonable camber on the front. mine is set at 1 degree and i don't want any more than that so went with the 185 tyres instead. Glanza may be slightly different though obviously. if you want mega lows though i
  17. I posted you those traces and text you but never heard anything, let me know when you get them
  18. Could be a lad called James bharth (I think that's his last name). He's not had it too long.
  19. Currently in the process of joining the RAF as a commissioned officer (once I finish getting rid of a tattoo). Out of the three services RAF definitely treat you better. Don't over look the less popular trades as they can sometimes be better and have just as good if not better promotion opportunities. It's not all about the glory roles. I work at the defence school of transport in the quarter masters department so I get to speak with recruits of all trades, corps and services etc etc and work closely with serving military personnel. Reme and re definitely have better promotional and civvy st
  20. Windy gun or impact driver of sorts. I wouldn't stick anything in the sump to "wedge the crank" lol we all know what will happen there. And i would only drop something in the bores as a total last resort and even then it would be a bit rope. Defintely wouldn't thread a long bolt in the spark plug hole to hold the piston at bottom dead center incase the engine snapped or chewed the threads which would mean head off/new head. In a clio we've had a breaker bar on the bolt wedged and then turned the engine over and its cracked off but was very sketchy to say the least lol was off in no time to
  21. Didn't realise how knackered my old TD04 was until i fitted another one! boooost!
