A bad actuator usually gets weak and stops holding boost well or not getting full boost at all, your problem may be that your breathing to well with mods like decat,fmic,relocated air filter,if u have them mods best thing to do would be port your wastegate and also u could restrict your air filter with a smaller one or some ductape on there.

Am not a pro tuner by far. But fuelling will be judged via wideband gauge and your timing will need to be pulled the use of det cans will need to be used. U can't just say how much will it need and punch that in because u will blow all for sure. There is other things to be done like uprated fuel pump,injectors ect before u boost.

It will run fine if its getting unpluged from a harness, if its spliced in u would have a few wires to re join.

Is it an rs232 ttl chipset.

What usb cable are u using, a normal usb to usb will not work unless it has an rs232 ttl converter on one end and a driver installed on your laptop to support it.

Your best putting it in to the car, just make sure the jumper switches are in the correct order for 4efte, to clear the map open new maps then burn to ecu.

Starlets dont have any problems with the stock ecu trying to make corrections over the piggyback, some other cars do but u can use an 02 clamp that clamps the 02 voltage to whatever u wish throughout the hole rev range so u can tune without problems. am using emb a few years now with no problems i think its very reliable, have a megasquirt ready to go in here but i will miss my emb.

i no u can use the gm 3bar sensors to work, have a look about them.

Looks like a fiesta, he made a mess of that yoke, good spec do.

Hit the scrap yard there should be some 4efe about, also cut an extra one out u may need to add a few extra pins for 4efte.
