I reckon those internal drive wheel nuts are probably a better bet; easy enough to get hold of a replacement spline drive but enough of a deterrent to stop the opportunist pikey

Tbh how often are people's wheels stolen anyway? I don't know anyone who's had theirs nicked... I don't doubt it has happened but it seems pretty rare?

I had this on my old Saxo years ago, I changed the pump and refilled the coolant and all was well afterwards

I think you should definitely spend the money and fix it mate! I reckon once it's running sweet again you'll majorly get the love back. The way I think about it, you can always earn more money but that project is a real one-off

Could this be linked to the fact it's an EFHE head and not an EFE one? I know the FHE heads are more aggressively tuned in terms of cams and ACIS intake but I'm not sure if the actual ports are different as part of this...?

Engines and gearboxes come up quite often on here from breakers. Gearboxes usually go for between £50 - £150ish depending on condition but it varies alot. Engines are usually £250 - £450ish without ancillaries, again depending on condition. The price difference is usually about 3-4x more for a used forged engine, but they start at about £2000 from a trader like Racetech and Tuning Developments.

I really really want the Xbox to turn out great as I've always had one from the original's launch date and I've always loved it, but their whole launch has just really irritated me. I mean it was all about Movies (we have Lovefilm already), TV (we have Sky already) and Skype (my mobile has done me fine up until now). Now they've shown some games, they do look pretty awesome, but IMO it's still overpriced, the DRM on used games is a pisstake and the online check-in is just another irritation. Really hope they pull it out of the bag in the coming months but atm I'm undecided :/

Always been an Xbox guy as for some reason I just never get on with the PS, but the Xbox launch so far has been really under-whelming. PS is much more reasonably priced and doesn't have those AIDS restrictions on used games. Guess I'll reserve overall judgement until I've seen more though :/

Cheers buddy, really looking forward to buying the last few parts and getting it all together. Unfortunately bloody thing put a spanner in the works over the weekend; rear brake line burst while I was out so I lost all my braking. Managed to limp it home, only to discover that not only was it out of brake fluid but it has also lost almost all its oil in under 3k miles! 4efe from any n/a Starlet and 5efe from Paseo. If you can find a Sera or Cynos then you can get hold of the import 5efhe, which is stronger and has fancy intake to make an extra 20hp or so. 4efte from any Glanza or GT. You can turbo the 4efe (check Rob H's build thread for tips on that) but I'm not sure if any of the above has been supercharged!
