    2jz?

The KP had the wall between cell and engine cut up and welded further back.
  2. Well. If you want to stand out bright green or yellow. Or what I like is this laquer that changes it's color depending on light. I'd like a car in black with red flakes shimmering through.

In that link someone actually complains that engine amd gearbox are longer than a Glanza. I see some resemblance here. And look atthat. The guy ignored it and just did it. Oh and yes the pics are of a KP61. I'm really glad to understand a bit spanish and am fluent in english
  4. Look at the VIN plate amd tell us the code then please.
  5. But reading everything makes me sad. I did some time ago as I said here and when I see how it went from a really nice daily with perfect handling and a nice stereo system including doorpods from a GT (if I recall correctly) to a stripped out track whore stored in a shed I could cry. Really, it was better before too much was stripped out. But that's just my opinion as I don't like cars that are as nice as this used only for tracks and really rarely.
  6. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/58975-list-of-starlet-color-codes/#entry756988 Look in my topic for that mate.
  7. What exactly is a mapconverter and what does it do?
  8. SMD ones won't melt your curcuits as SMDs draw way less power normally. These are also the LEDs used on compputer platines, my old Grafics card for example had 4LEDs for Power and one old mainboard had some for indicating faults. All SMD because they are more efficient.
  9. Bonnet should be same as Bumper and for bumper I couldn't find anything lower than 100 till now
  10. That was the one sitting in your car complaining. Also you put money in so it stays with you. ^^
  11. I read you have a reason and it's legitimate. But your bars seemed to be put on to stay forever. Don't get me wring, I've seen starlets with roofracks and liked em, I just don't like the combination with the Glanza kit ;) by the way I know that bike problems. Only one bike fitted completely in my starlet with me nearly stuck behind the steering wheel. Was an old blue motorized Hercules, nearly exactly the same blue as my cars. Was a nightmare of a drive because I had no space. Would at that time have loved to have a rack or an ... (well, what is the thing called you can pull with your car to
  12. With two speakers of different sizes on one channel there is no balance to change.
  13. Glanza Kit with roof racks... sorry, in my opinion that ruins the look of the car. Maybe would be better with NA Kit. Glanza Kit (especially spoiler) always looks like "go fast" but roofracks look like "slow". And that combination... I'd never do it. Please either remove roof rack or Glanza Kit. At least the spoiler
  14. Well for reliability and long life a BOV would be good (to put my other post in few words).
  15. Well. First of all only put one speaker per channel. Using two speakers (and different ones at that) on one channel like you do leads to both soundin shit and lowers the impendance to a half of the original one and in worst case kill your headunit.
  16. Well, my stepdad has a rather new BMW, has no spare wheel either. I toom out the spare wheel of my Starlet and will be putting a sub in it, but only because I'm not dependant on the car. If I really needed a car for everyday work (after tuning my starlet) I obviously would get one with a spare wheel for situations like yours. Cars like transporters that are built for heavy load with no spare wheel? Bullshit. On cars in the class of a Starlet it would be okay.
  17. May I hijack this thread, I want a G6 box for long now but I want to know if there are LSDs available for that and if the final gear can be changed for a bit longer one.
  18. Get it wrapped in a bright unusual color. People will be "Whoa what's that? Oh wtf, just some old shite" and then yousurprise them again when flooring for example.
  19. You need a fittimg exhaust mani as the 5E block is higher than the 4E one. Then your parts and something like a Emanage. I wouldn t run a stock ECU made for a smaller engine or one for NA on turbo. At least not without a piggiyback at least. Also for boost you could try to grab knock sensor readings and adjust to that. In my opinion the safest way to reach "high" bost on a FHE. Sry for mistypes, haven't slept cause gaminh, thanks to shitty Vodafone have no DSL and am on phone and am freezing.
  20. Well, JDMfreak, we have some Starlets equipped with sideskirts here so a (freely translated) "Comparison sheet" can be made, this means I give evidence this part was approved on another car of same model (in this case has to be another EP91) and the TÜV guy can put the skirts in my papers too. But it's not a must, unfortunately. Depends really on the guy if he wants to. E.g. in my city the TÜV guy doesn't like any modificafions (spoke to him aboutclear side repeater lenses only and he ddidn't want to know anything about it) but in the next town (20km to it) it's said among our tuners there is
  21. Well, apart from the funny raging around (the admin, lol, "You are not my opinion and want to state yours? Fuck off!") There is really some info useful to me. Superccharging is less fuel efficient but has the advantage of linear gain. Didn't think about that. Now I know why a German Forum Member supercharged his 2E-E. He wanted it for track. Well, his engine blew so he is now building a SC/Turbo combo engine out of a 5E-FE.
  22. Well, if the police stops me with anything on the car that is not in the cars papers (which can be edited by TÜV if the mods are legal) they can go as far as have me park my car right there and not allow me to drive it anymore until the "faults" are fixed. But normally they just give me a paper to fix it and show the fix to them in the next few days or so. Or show it to the TÜV, don't know exactly as I didn't have that situation before, because they didn't look closer at the spoiler as it's Jap OEM and thus looks perfectly OEM even being white while the car is sky blue.
  23. Those would still not be legal for German TÜV Ithink. Otherwise the Glanza Owners here wouldn't have had to build their lights out of motorbike lights. But really would like those parts. Maybe in like a month I'll see where I can get good shipping prices
  24. Well I don't mean tgis serious as here in Germany it's my normal language when I'm jealous and speak with friends (like to me you here all are): FU. Seriously, I want those prices too as I need/want skirts and rear bumper and bonnet (the latter to mod myNA one like in the NP90 thread). Here in Germany (parts ssourcing in Germany) I'd have to pay nearly 500 for those parts. I really need a new spoiler brake light as mine's faulty and I want a rear bumper because it looks much better. Skirts would be nice to have something on the sides and I love the scoop. But as it's really hard to build LHD l
