  1. It isn't, not with the right tool. Did it with a powerdrill with the correct tooling for it, it's like a thick plate of rubber, smelling abit like vanilla (seriously) and going over the glue with that carefully removes all of it without much effort, just time and care.
  2. Watch out for your gearbox. My mate, a mechanic, got his in his Bora crushed while just normally driving to work. At lunch as he wanted to bring the car in to check he noticed the exhaust fell off while standing there. God I hate VW, one of the biggest job bringers in my area (Niedersachsen near Emden, one of the big factories) but the tuners around here are simply assholes mostly, most don't respect other makes of cars.

Hi, As I need to change my headgasket and bought a head set with all gaskets and seals needed to revise the full head I want to know where I can get a bit stronger valve springs so I am able to turbo the engine or reuse the head on a maybe turboed 5E. As I am in germany it's not possible to get the FTE by any means (at least not cheap enough for me). So I need aftermarket ones or anyone selling his and willing to ship em to Germany.

  13. I mean the acutal height of the displayed bar. And yes, even with gauges it't more convenient to have this automatic switch to the screen out of threshold, that's why I suggested it. I for myself want gauges as they look cool and some are useful while normal driving or standing (for me oil temp, boost if I ever boost it and Voltage for my audio) but fir normal driving and even tracking it you only need to know if and what is wrong so you can react fast.   14. One suggestion, for more of a warning indicator you should display the bars in the normal and safe temp/pressure range smaller and the unsafe range bigger. So you really see when it's critical. Also maybe fit some LEDs for this and a little beeper. So the LED lights up when any temp is too high or oil pressure too low, maybe a LED for both oil parts and one for water or one for both temps and one for oil pressure.   15. I think easiest time to do it is while doing am engine swap. While the engine is out unplug everything (but mark it where it goes) and if possible sleeve it like in a modded PC. But not the modern single cable sleeving, rather the normal sleeve a bunch of cables that are to go together. That's what I would do or rather will do if I ever get the chance and money to really build up my car.

  22. They are not MS Design afaik. If they were they would fetch about 50 £ in Germany. But afaik MS is just like "bent" in the look. Quite rare by the way, know of only like 10 sets and they are only once or twice a year for sale. Maybe FK Design. Not Nippon Tuning for sure. And I can't distinguish any other brands apart Glanza OEM ^^
