  1. May I ask, did you use stronger Valve Springs? Or are those only needed for higher revs and not for changing a NA engine into a charged one?

  6. An efficient Twin Turbo setup could only be achieved by copying the setup on the Supra MKIV. Would give fast spool and rather big power without lag.
  7. May I ask, what are the gains of your spark-setup and was it expensive and hard or cheap and easy (or a mixture of that)?

I'll write up what I'd do to this car exterior wise, maybe you like one idea or another: - Remove Bumpstrips - Make Decals as OEM ones but going through the lines where the bumpstripes where (might be hard to put on but doable I think) - Glanza Spoiler, Rear Bumper and maybe Sideskirts - Complete clear Indicators - Nice lip on the Front or longer bumper like rob bower did on his silver one - Change drivers side rear light for the LHD Passenger one (white field on both sides) - Lowering it - Nice subtle exhaust tip, no massive tip but a bit nicer than the stock peashooter.   10. If I had your setup in my car I would have this bonnet with the scoop on as a daily Bonnet. Would fabricate a dirt-stopper for when it's parked too, so no leafs or anything can block the air and stuff

  12. Then go all the way for the T254 for maximum Performance. I'd do it if I'd tune a K Engine.
  13. Do you have the FHe ECU? If the FHE you have there doesn't have the ACIS intake, it's ECU is programmed to let it Rev to 7800RPM (opposed to the 4E 6300RPM). The Gen1 with the ACIS Revs to 7300RPM. So your 4E ECU doesn't rev high enough for the 5E.
  14. The 4-2-1 Corolla Mani isn't from the Bug-Eye Corolla E11 but from the normal looking Corolla E10. From the 4E-FE Gen1 and not Gen3. In our Starlet we have the Gen2
  15. With pulleys, headwork, tubular intake together with the stock tb widened to 50mm, Obex 4-2-1 Exhaust, Green Twister Filter and cold air induction, Glanza S Fuelrail and Emanage "motion" made like 115bhp.
  16. In the 5E there are the same cams as in the 4E. The FHE are better and more sturdy cams.

  19. So you can't get the turboed engine road legal? If so, then you have even stricter laws than we in Germany. Sometimes I think in England the road legal laws are really open for modifications etc.

  22. I've never seen that beige one. Seems the owner isn't in the German Starlet Club. Or he was active a few years ago and isn't anymore. But that pic is not that old as he has remains of the old Exhaustgas-Test on the front plate which we don't need anymore as now its together with our TÜV (your MOT). That has changed just two years ago in 2010.
  23. Why the hell do some German tuners have to let EVERY car look like a Golf or Polo -.- The blueish one looks like a Opel Corsa B and the Cream-colored one looks like one of those ugly Polo 6N's with this stupid "Evil Eyes" (Freely translated as I just talk about the Eyelid-style thing)
  24. That's because NA tuning is much more complicated rhan simply turning up the boost a bit (yes I know it's not that simple on charged engines too but put side by side it is)
