  1. I would want a FHE too. But the one out of the Cynos, with the ACIS for even more HP
  2. Why did you call this MURX? In German the word "murks" sounds similar and means something like "crap" or "poorly made", something along this.
  3. Will you put your clear LED Brake light in that Spoler?
  4. Then this part of the Forum seems a bit buggy I think.
  5. Not early Corolla, exactly of the Corolla E10 with the Gen1 4E-FE with 88hp
  6. Paseo 5EFE 1. 3,545 2. 1,904 3. 1,310 4. 0,969 5. 0,815 Diff 3,941 Yep, the Paso Diff would make a difference. I personnally would go for the 6-Speed Gearbox of the Corolla E11 E11 6-Gang 1,6&1,4L C161 1. 3,166 2. 1,904 3. 1,233 4. 0,969 5. 0,815 6. 0,682 Diff 4,529
  7. Maybe it's better if you get the full view of the car. Other than that, I like them and that's all that's needed ^^ Everyone liked them on motions car, where they come from ;)
  8. Here's the picture of them fitted to the car. Looks much better than any OEM one I think.
  9. Just a little teaser. Will go on tomorrow, got them in 1:1 exchange for my manual stock ones.
  10. Older cars like ours have just a few earthing cables coming from the battery. By putting an earthing kit on the car the overall stability and reliability of the earthing gets better and sometimes this provides a hp or two more. I even read recently, that on old cars like the starlets so called voltage stabilizers have a positive effect. That thing on the test car provided two hp or so more and raised the torque a tiny bit.
  11. Osram Nightbreaker ftw. Had some of these blue Xenon look bulbs before. Were really crappy in rain and snow. Now I have the nightbreakers and the light is nearly as white as with the otgers but the Osrams are really bright and the full beam is awesomely strong and going rather far. And I hate the real HID or Xenon lights, as they are way too bright and every car who has them is blinding me.
  12. You did glue the carpet on, Am I right? If you jsut fastened it on the sides, you could simply rip both off and put the carpet on top, with the side that previously was in contact with the plastic facing upwards. If you did glue the whole area this would look shit, but if not it's a possibility.
  13. Where did you get thos blue PAS hoses from? Would exactly go according to my plans as I want a blue and black bay.

    Reset Base Idle

Would be the better solution, you're right.
  15. Just a quick question, can you see this Thread in the overview of this forum? I can't, just in the recent topics box from the general UKSO overview. €: Now I posted in here it's there. WTF?

    Reset Base Idle

to reset the ECU to base settings (albeit also everything else electronical in the car) you can just unplug the ground of the battery for like 5 minutes. After that it will learn whatever small things you did to the engine in like 400-700km of driving.
  17. The cheap Hifonics stuff isn't that bad either for beginners, I think.
  18. Why should the wipers lift? If they are properly designed and ideally it's stood in the sun for some time in the summer they are like glued to the window, never experienced that on you car? I did, had to get out to lift them off the window to make them work again. Just needs like 37°C in the sun for that. Also most roads here in Germany are like that, actually at least here in the north, Lower Saxony to be exact (where most of that VW heads are as here are the two biggest factories in Germany, Wolfsburg and Emden), I don't know many roads where you have to be slower than 100km/h (from the qua
  19. In the German Hifi-forum one had a Caddy with 16 subs, made 167dB. Is European and World Champion in the dB-Drag. But this Tips are more for Quality, not Volume and pressure ;) Alpine is not entirely entry level, the better Alpine Headunits and Soundprocessors are more in High-End. But most manufacturers have some entry level systems. I for myself want to get mid-range speakers for the front. But even this midrange will cost me 169€ (Replay Energy RE65-Set). This combined with a 4-Way amp (2 channels for the front and 2 for the sub in bridged mode) should give me a nice sound quality. And un
  20. Hey guys, I'm active on here bit longer now, but I think I'll introduce myself officially. I'm Renko, 20, from northern Germany. I drive a 97' Starlet "Moonlight" since March now. The car has made a few subtle changes until now, Read about them in my project Thread: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/index.php?showtopic=55613&hl= To personal things, I'm not a guy that likes to get his hands dirty mostly, I read to gain more knowledge, sometimes ask more or less silly questions (like my thread on what V6/S6 could be made to fit in a Starlet) and when I gather enough knowledge I use it for my
  21. To be honest, I haven't read into actual speaker choices for now because at first I wanted to have knowledge on the general do's and don'ts. But I will search for info on that topic, I think in a week or two I'll have gathered enough to give tips on that ;)
  22. On a side note: A gutted cat will actually decrease performance and a good cat like ones from Magnaflow will be nearly as good for power as having a tube as a cat, but without breaking the law. Additionally, in the tests in the sources below, the straight tube lost a few hp an torque in low- and mid-range, which is in my personal opinion and in opinion of the tester bad for daily driving, because with lower power in low to mid range you will have to push the throttle a bit further there to achieve the same speed (imagine driving through a city or any limited street), thus needing a bit more fu
  23. With the Glanza Box the car should accelerate faster but hit the Rev-Limit at a lower speed. This is due to third and fourth gear being shorter in gearing. You can calculate at what speed exactly, depending on diameter of tires and max RPM. But honestly, I forgot how exactly the calculation worked, also I don't know the exact size of your tires.
  24. If you don't need them anymore in the future please send me a PM
