  1. I have a liam hybrid but its a speedvison housing and comp wheel running a bar cant see how thats much different to what midland turbo hybrid would be built.
  2. thats great ryan.i have built a forged engine from scratch and done a turbo conversion wirt a full loom swap out. how hard is a gearbox to take apart and rebuild in comparison please ?

I have my eye on a cheap apparently working condition gearbox.i can get it for a good price and worth a punt. instead of wasting 3-4 hours fitting it to find it doesnt work, do they come apart quite easily and are they "checkable" ie can I open it and see if parts are badly worn and/or syncros going. please help.any advice would be marvelous
  4. do not run a pcv valve mate.not good. more to the point there is absolutely no need
  5. well thats wierd as my brakes are epic.and most important they are balanced. genuinley not had an issue over the two years I have owned and driven daily and done track day. they dont need to be changed (bias/brake pipe union)

  8. as shaun said, the carriers are different. you can get starlet brake parts second hand on ebay if you do find servos dead. morgey thats not correct dude.i have a sportif with rear disc conversion and never done that.brakings fine and never had an issue
  9. not really a hard job.would recommend polybushes for it 100%
  10. 230 is well enough.handling and braking are more important.

  13. yeah makesure engines up to temp, throttles wide open and u do 5 sec burst on the key.
  14. just find a cat friendly place dude.had decatted cars for 5 years and the bloke I see never has an issue with it.
