  1. dcy = cunts. My first starlet was well overpriced, had been in a smash so chassis was bent, emailed them about it and they didn't even reply. avoid
  2. Ha I remembered getting a high octane DVD with Redline or Fastcar magazine, was awesome. Actually covered some tuning rather than all bling
  3. Yeah that guys awesome, I recently found his videos when i was looking for advice on what to do with new paint! Pretty cool videos
  4. Awesome build man! I've really fancied going for a haltech ECU so can't wait to see how you get on with it
  5. Had a similar issue with flux, tried to cancel a policy halfway because I got a much cheaper quote from greenlight. Flux wanted to charge me through the nose for it but couldn't actually explain why so I refused to pay it, hours of phone calls till they agreed. Total nightmare, I'd paid like 7 months of the policy and was trying to cancel at the start of the 5th month so was expecting a refund. With herts now who have been really good so far, left greenlight because they couldn't add my other half on the policy because she didn't have experience with driving a "high performance car", aside from that I didn't have any issues with them
  6. I'll just leave these here....
  7. I've got one in the house waiting to be fitted, I'll get you the part number if you wanna get it from toyota
  8. I get the same thing man its brutal, probably not helped with the gaps on the bulkhead
  9. I have the ctek mxs5.0. Works really well and according to the ctek site they charge gel batteries fine. http://smartercharger.com/faq/#batteryknowledge5
  10. Is it a glanza s? regardless the engine will be a 4E-FE. The T in 4E-FTE stands for turbo I believe
  11. If the cars stock and you're keeping it that way then I'd use the cat. The standard ECU is mapped for the cat so chances are you might not even get a performance increase without it. This is my opinion of course. I ran without a cat for a while but recently got a universal one welded in. It probably wont make any difference to the power I want to make, saves the legal hassles and the environment... which no-one seems to give a fuck about on here haha
  12. Haha aye been watching it religiously. #teamevo
  13. I need one one of these asap! What have you got? Needs to be an EP91
  14. Item For Sale: EP91 Apexi Power Fc with hand commander, map sensor, boost solenoid and wiring Item Condition & Description: For sale i have my Apexi Power Fc with EP91 adapter loom, brand new hand controller, brand new map sensor, brand new boost solenoid and brand new wiring for all components. This Power Fc is the AP Engineering version for the EP91 Toyota Starlet Glanza. Top piece of kit, doesn't come up for sale with all these extras that often. I had to source most of the parts from Japan at great expense. The ECU and loom are used. The hand commander was purchased new by myself and has only been plugged in once to check it works. The rest of the parts are brand new and have only been removed from packaging for photos. This ECU is standalone and only requires to be plugged in and mapped, no cutting up or making custom wiring looms. Any questions I'll be happy to help out. Selling due to saving for a house. Price: £1050 ono Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: Pay with Paypal - Delivery £10 shipped to UK, or cash on collection from Glasgow

  20. I'd take a drive up to see dean at racework developments if i was you
  21. Going to be getting my starlet mapped soon, got my hks exhaust modified with a new 2.5" centre section and a 200 cell magnaflow welded in. Going to be interesting to see what kinda power i get with 1.2bar of boost. Anyone got dyno results with a td04 and sports cat fitted?
  22. I had the same issue a while ago. It could be your lambda sensor/wiring, mine was gubbed and was giving off a solid 0v instead of moving about from 0.1-0.9v so the car didn't fuel properly. When I unplugged the lamba sensor the car drove fine so I knew that was the problem. Unplug the lambda sensor and see how it drives, when no lambda sensor is plugged in it over fuels slightly so wont be very good for economy but will let you know if that's where your issue lies.
