did you use pirate gasket or toyota 1 ?? or steel ? as the pirates are uber crap and the steels need precision face and dec to seal propperly the toyota 1 is VERY forgiving to warp and scratches

only 2 ways amigo cracked head or block then OR the dec face ( block face ) is scratched warped

Use 4efe ecu it will run the 5e unless you have 5e ecu might need few pin terminals swapping on ecu plugs both pinouts are online to check Unless the 5e ecu comes from serra or cynosB as there external coil setups and won't work with stock 4efe loom

just fit complete 5efe engine and be done heads are the same the block is 25mm longer so your rocker cover will be that much higher so bare 5e engine and bolt on aal your 4e stuf like manifold exhaust etc etc and drive away also the engine code is stamped in front of the block you will see it strait away

its hardly going to be much faster fitting a 5e na as theres not much in it between 4efe/5efe its going to cost loads to have it right better of doing a budget turbo conversion

i have glanza wishbones in my gtturbo ( ep82 ) its on some that the metal bracket is indeed wider and narrower but the wishbones them self fit as ep80/81/82/91 share same floorpan
