Just a quick update.

ABS is removed as well as the charcoal canister and the rest of the air con gubbins. The ABS loom has mostly been removed from the loom also just so it looks a bit neater.

Then out came the degreaser and all the underneath, inner arches and engine bay has been steam cleaned, what a transformation!! Looks 10 times better and we havent even finished yet!

Gearbox has also been thoroughly cleaned and again looks alot better so far.

Turbo kit is almost assembled and I couldnt help but fit it to the old engine, the words of my old man, "thats a piece of kit" ;)

Anyways I'll have to tease you and leave the pics until tomorrow where hopefully things start going back together :o

what parts on the inlet did you have to block off ? i wna strip all my aircon parts out but im still scared to haha , when striping it back from the loom did anything hve to be cut or was it just undo the tape and pull it out ?
