shanksportif Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Cheers man it looks pretty good! (although it says prices start at £150, but i'll look into that) Quote
keirz Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 well i got mine done a year and a bit ago, so prices could have increased i guess. i would ring up and enquire mate. still 150 isnt to bad for the look it gives. Quote
Glanza_Ragger Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 love the lime green rim dude. nice thouch. Quote
keirz Posted October 22, 2006 Author Posted October 22, 2006 cheers mate. theres more lime green planned for under the bonnet as well. should look sweet if i manage to pull it off without it looking stupid. Quote
keirz Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 had a good polish and a bit more green under the bonnet. need a better camera cuz they arent the best pics.let me know what you think.mani should be on soon. dont know if i should do that green aswell of polish it up. Quote
scutch0 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 looks great dude. loving the lime green stuff. very different.polishing the mani is a bit too tough, so to be honest, i'd just paint it. thats what i did. Quote
starletno1fan Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 lovin that lime green mate, engine bay looks tidy!mint car altogether! Quote
Idrees Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Nice one there mate the engine bay looks sweet now! What hoses did you use? Or did you just get some universal stuff then cut it to fit?Keep up the good work, i would polish the mani or spray it a shiney silver (which would be easier than polishing!) - because maybe too much green would spoil the engine bay in my opinion?! Quote
Starlet Nath Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Looking very nice mateyLooking even shiner under you bonnet nowNath Quote
SiCaln Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 likin that a lot mate, very different n smart Quote
Raffi Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Nice Engine Bay...Nice Green theme, keep it up! Quote
keirz Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 thanks for all the comments people.they are just hose covers but i think they still look kinda cool.i have got some thermotec heat reflective wrap so may cover the mani in that. prob wont do a great deal in lowering intake temps but every little helps. will look ok i think if i do a good job of wraping it. tried to do my current one but it was a pain in the arse to do without inlet mani off. progress is slow now cuz im trying to save money but i still have a few more plans. Nanglebadger Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Lookin very very smart man, nice work!!!!Phil. Quote
keirz Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 new bit. bling bling now where are them spanners? Quote
Idrees Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 nice one mate, inlet manifold looking shiney! mines just a metallic silver ! did you use heat proof paint? Quote
keirz Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 not as cool as your 3 spokes. i wanted something a bit more jdm so these suited me perfect.didnt need to be heat proof as it doesnt get hot enough. the photo doesnt really do it justice to be honest. it looks better in the flesh. Quote
Idrees Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 lol my brothers a waste in that case. i told him we don't need heatproof and to buy a chrome effect. he comes back with metallic silver sayin 'this is the only heatproof they had'ah well!! when you fitting? Quote
keirz Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 sat depending on the weather. i think i can do it, but reading the fitting guide its making me unsure. there are things on there that i cant understand why they need doing, im sure il find out sat. Quote
