I also fitted the black bonnet scoop, and gave her a quick wash (wheels and arches mainly).Here you can see where I've got rid of some holes in the engine bay as I won't be needing them with the wire tuck.Smooth battery tray, also the wiper washer bottle will be relocated to the rearThat is all, for now. This was done by Drakes Engineering in Bradford and it looks like they've done a top job on it. What I had done:Block honed, skimmed and notchedPistons, rods, crank, flywheel, clutch and crank pulley balancedBlock and cylinder head chemically cleanedBlock lightly skimmed and notched for Scat rodsBores honedFully balanced crank, flywheel, clutch and crank pulleyScat forged con-rodsWossner 74mm dished forged pistonsAE bearings Quote Link to post Share on other sites

God knows how as I cleaned the car properly, and I thought it was a good clean booth I sprayed in. I thought I may get away with flatting the lacquer and buffing it out but it's not looking likely so I need to start prepping the car for another respray. Gutted.
