Got home from work today and knocked this water pipe up for the turbo. I might redo it at some point as I didn't have a pipe bender tonight haha it's made of stainless steel O.D 9.5mm or 3/8 for you oldies Quote

AdamB Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Is that an EGT sensor drilled in the turbine housing mate? Or a wheel speed sensor? Quote

Or a wheel speed sensor? It's an EGT sensor tapped into the housing That's some awesome work so tidy looks immense! Keep it upThanks, I shall keep working Quote
AdamB Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 It's an EGT sensor tapped into the housing Thanks, I shall keep working Nice mate, you using that as an input for the ecu aswell? How comes you decided to put it in the housing rather than the mani? Quote
turbo Grant Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 Jayep91 put it in the housing as it was in the down pipe from when the pp boys had it. Didn't see any point in moving it. It's just linked up to a gauge at the moment. I will be putting one in all of the runners at some point so I can trim the fueling on each cylinder Quote
turbo Grant Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 Mocked up this after work today. Front exit 51mm pipe for the tial 44mm wastegate Quote

turbo Grant Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Cheers peps and jake you should come see us soon. Got the oil cooler all plumbed up and ready to rock now. Had to take the front mount off to do the fittings up. Took a quick snap whilst it was off And also fitted some heat proof braided line cover on the water hose for the turbo. Will also stop it chaffing. No one likes chaffing! As you can tell I havnt exactly been rushing things. Would be nice to do jf2 but if I'm not happy I'm not taking it haha Quote
