Never seen the murrey clamps before, might have to invest in some for my car as they seem to be the nuts for boost pipes

Yeah very good clamps was looking around at alot of big power scoobys and evos and that seems to be the thing to use and looks smart to. that picture of all the clamps that £90 and ive still got to do the hot side intercooler pipe yet :(

but for your build Grant its perfect and a nice finishing touch :)

are they better than micalor clamps then?? i use micalor on mine as my mate who works in a hose/fluid transfer company said they do a great job. just curiouse realy lol looking nice and smart though dude :)

UPDATE



Ordered a defi link cable from RHD JAPAN so i can run a boost gauge

I decided with my cusco catch can to have some -8 fittings welded on which a mate did and discussed with Ricky from Race-Tech to modify my catch can and baffle it so no need to run filter.

also Ricky supplied me with a fitting to go from my Fuel 6mm pipe to an-6 fitting

While i was up at the Autosport show i picked up a expansion botter cap

Fitted the Murry Clamps to the intercooler

Sent the Expansion bottle, Catch canand bracket, Cusco BMCS and alternator pully to the powder coaters and bolts and fitting to the zinc coaters

Put the cans together and mounted in the bay

What's the advantages of running a baffled catch can??

Reason I went down this route was i was chatting to Ricky and he said he done sock's like this as you do not get the oil stain marks when the filter breaths when under reving + looks tidy there are benfits but best to have a chat to ricky

Looks like its getting there man been a while since i saw this last. Dare i say it..... is it going to be cleaner than the GT? ha hope so man.

Its slowley getting there. I hope its going going to be as good as the red one doing it second time round i know what i want from the car and doing the final details to make it right :)

What's the advantages of running a baffled catch can??

Liam - A baffled tank helps turn the warm oil vapour into a liquid that can then collect at the bottom of the tank. Without the baffle the vapour can be drawn straight through the tank and back into the system rendering the whole point of the tank in the first place useless.

Tuning developments sourced me a GT4 map sensor to go with my Apexi Power FC

Machine work on the block and crank is all done and bottom end is ready to assembly.


Custom baffled sump is near completion..


Head is on the way port and polish wise my custom bigger valves should arrive on wednesday so that will take a leap forward.
