abbott Posted November 29, 2012 Author Share Posted November 29, 2012 UPDATEWell last week made a start on getting the car stripped not bad for a evening work on my ownOn the saturday sorted through the bolts and cleaned them up and sorted out brackets to get zinc coated and powder coatedThen cleaned up the oil filter housing and thermostat housingGot a box on the bench to drain all the oil so ready to strip and reseal box and give it a freshen up.Had a couple of delivery of a new oil pressure release vave and a Sard low temp statMy low millage running engine is now sold and going to a good home I hope to have some work in progress pictures soon of the machine work and head work which is going on. abbott Posted December 14, 2012 Author Share Posted December 14, 2012 (edited) Picked up my gearbox mount bolts, clutch folk and sump bolts from the zinc coaters also while they were there they were refurbing my HKS fuel rail because when i bout it it had deep scuffs on it so me being anal with stuff wanted it mint again and as you can see in the picture its good as new just need to stick the badge back on.
