Yesterday a friend took me down to see Rob to drop some parts down and see an update on my engine and was not a waste of time for my mate as a company opposite called Engine Dynamics remapped my mates 172cup which killed 2 birds with 1 stone :)

Well the update showed that machining on block was complete, block had been notched to take rods, crank had been balanced and ready for assembly

PEC Rods

ACL main bearing

ACL thrust Bearings

ACL big end bearings

ARP main nut and stud kit

Then showed me my head which has been the little hold up on the build due to waiting for the development he done in to designing and working along side a manufacture to make 1mm oversize valves for the 4e head and using my head as the guinea pig for the development.

all seats have been cut and machining for valves to fit.

Rob has now done all the calculation needed so he is now storming on to get port and polishing of the chambers done and get the head skimmed and assembly to let me know what size Yaris buckets to order from Toyota.

Also my custom baffled sump is near completion laser cutters have done there work with the plates and flaps and is now with a friend of his to do the small tweaks and the tig welding. Updates to come on this.

the morning finished going down the café with Rob and discussing further works he's doing for me and discussing completion date which is 2-3weeks :)

Now I am etching more than normal and making sure everything is ready for when I collect engine.

Sent my front pipe of exhaust to Dean at RW-Developments for a custom front pipe to be made due to the hks diameter of pipe is so small at the front and want it to be the same all the way through.

Dean received my exhaust and he made a jig up to get the new one same length and position he has made it straight through with a wideband bung welded in place to take my aem gauge.

Over the moon with it and a great guy to deal with.

Heres pics to show his work.
