UPDATE

not much of an update but still playing and ordering bits.

On stripping the box to reseal and make sure all is ok i find that there was no magnet in the box. so ordered a new one from toyota and installed and sealed box all back up.

Ordered a couple of fitting from torques for the fuel line, rail, fuel pressure regulator and oil breathers for the cam cover. still have got alot more bits to order from them once christmas holidays been.

Ordered a water pump pipe to thermostat hose and dump valve hose from Roose Motorsport

Picked up my gearbox mount brackets from the powdercoaters

thanks chap. im etching to get it back together already. only got 9weeks till the babys due now, so need to get as much done as possiable to wrote up a list last night so got to work through that before engined back :)

Little update



Well after sealing the gearbox up i gave it a clean up and a few fresh coats of paint which came out really well. added the powdercoated mounts and zinc bolts.

Added the powder coated mounts, zinc bolts, covers and a new set of drive shaft seals

Clean and painted drivshafts

Cleaned and painted power steering pump and fitted lighweight pully and zinced bits

Picked up some engine bay bolts, fixings and brackets up from zinc coaters

desided to de clean up the engine bay as it was grubby and wanted it looking fresh when the engines all back in. baged up all the plugs and loom ready to be de greased and pressure washed.

after doing this it was still dirty so desided to use some elbow grease and use some dirty remover and polish as you can see dirty bottom to cleaned top

A bit more progress and it started looking better

Fitted new fuel filter cleaned a put back the carbon canister and all brackets and zinc bolts. still got alot more polishing to go.

On the throttle body i have had the a/c vacum welded up

thanks John Im doing my best to get it all done and mapped ready for japfest but only got 6 weeks left till babys hear so up against at the mo :)

The zinc coating is a nice touch, what does it cost?
