I am sad to say that I have had a bad experience from td this year :(

Earlier In June I ordered some spark plugs and they never showed up so had to ring up later that week. Apparently the couriers fault so "resent" to me. They did come through. Fair enough these things happen from time to time.

A few months later I ordered some more bits (a couple of days before they moved premises)and was told next day delivery. Never turned up. I tried contacting them but couldn't get through as I eventually found out they were moving. About 2 weeks later after tearing my hair out I got through. Same excuse it was the couriers fault they'll "resend" it. After chasing it up it eventually came through. Sorry but not good enough.

Mike youve always been helpful on the phone but the latest thing I have become frustrated about is I asked you to check a simple thing with a lowerarm for me friday just gone and you said you would send an email. In fact you said you have already sent the email but I haven't received anything from you. You said you'll "resend" it. I see a trend here. Really disappointed. Its put me off dealing with you again.

I've been Into starlets for years now particularly gt turbo's, last summer I managed to buy a glanza s for £198 off a lady local to myself. Cut the story short the engine went bang because it had been say for so long & I didn't change the oil. All my own fault. I quickly got In touch with mike & he was sound on the phone. Very helpful & was willing to ship a 4efe for me to South Wales for a very good price,

Having looking around for a gt turbo one come up cheap which I bought 3 days later bottom end went, being on a bit of a budget I rebuilt it with the help of my boss but I didn't want to cut corners so I sourced parts & sourced some bits from tuning developments too. Very good service, awesome professional attitude, good prices, mike is lovely to deal with he was always willing to have a little chat on the phone about little problems that were arising when I was putting the engine back in, if I couldn't explain the problem properly we would exchange pics over email, I'm currently waiting to get a greedy emanage & map & general check over with them, I've dealt with another starlet specialist & weren't so impressed by the company, tuning developments is always my first point of call, I will be getting it forged then eventually :) can't compliment enough.

So I've had my car a week since it was mapped on an emanage and I couldn't be happier it runs sweet as a nut and pulls very well :)

Took it there just after I put a second hand engine in it also bought from mike! The 245 mile journey back home was 100x better than the journey there I can't believe te differance!!

The customer services from these guys really is second to none :) can't recommend them enough, would definitely make again one day :)

Thanks again mike I can't thank you enough :)

Early start for me today, woke up at half 4 to leave the house at 5 to make the 250 mile trip down to tuning developments. When I arrived Mike greeted me with a friendly handshake and a quick conversation to get some background info on the car. After signing a form he gave me and my 2 mates a lift into town as what can only be described as the ultimate sleeper (we were pretty impressed with it). Had some breakfast did some shopping then had a brew and within 3-4 hours I had a call to say the emanage had been fitted and mapped and that the car was ready. Mike then came back and picked us all up which is really good of him, you don't get service like that at many places. Got back had a look at the graphs and it had made 221.8BHP at 1bar on 95 ron fuel so I was very happy and paid him the very reasonable price that he is offering just now (which I would recommend anyone to take him up on) and got my graphs & keys. Overall I was very happy, mike is a top guy to deal with really nice genuine guy, feels just like it's your mate your going to see even put up with the state of my very dirty car and all the rough edges that still need tidied up haha.

Anyway down to the performance. Before it went it was running 0.5 bar on a RRFPR and FCD and setup on a wideband and at the time I felt it was pretty quick and a decent upgrade over the CT9 even at 0.5 bar. The car pulled ok although it was fairly hesitant at low RPM and had a couple of small flat spots and also a slight blip on idle. After mapping all this was gone car runs like new and feels amazing to drive, it is far far smoother and pulls like mad in every gear even 5th I can't believe the difference it has made, so much faster and torquier. The power delivery is perfect and boost comes in really nice, none of the old harsh spikes that used to break traction. It gets to full boost boost after 4k rpm and hold it perfectly all the way to the redline. It really just feels like a new car to drive I had a grin from ear to ear driving it home, can't thank Mike and Nick enough and I would whole heartedly recommend anyone to take there car there, I know mine will definitely be back.

Great service, thanks.

this is exactly how my car acts, and im running 0.5 bar ct9 ext wastegate, going mapping 1st march for td04 @1 bar so looking forward to driving it home now lol

mikes super friendly awesome guy, any parts are shipped and received super fast, look forward to mapping :)

Thought I'd best leave some feedback for my recent visit to Tuning Developments last month. Around a 4 hour drive from where I stay so I booked into the premier inn just along the road

I arrived bright and early to have my e-manage blue fitted and mapped. I was greeted by Mike, who I had spoken to several times before my trip. Gem of a bloke who couldn't have been more helpful

After the dyno session I was presented with my printout with an impressive 224bhp @ 1bar from my CT12 turbo & and the car now drives superb! Pulls very strong in every gear even with the boost controller set to low

Thanks very much guys! Look forward to dealing with you again very soon

I've made two trips in total now to tuning developments once on the 4th April 2015 and one yesterday 4th July 2015. Both times I was greeted kindly by Mike, we spoke most of both days chatting cars and I was made to feel at home.

All my questions I had were answered honestly, without hesitation. It felt like I had known Mike for years! The guys have done a truly awesome job on my car, I couldn't have asked for better service! 300.9bhp was the end result!

Thanks again Mike and nick! :)

And here's one for Mike! Lmao!!

#highly recommended, #greatservice, #...#? Lmao

Brilliant service from the Jones brothers from me, they seriously know their way around a starlet!
Had a mapping session, emanage blue install & GFB G Force 2 boost controller installed, they managed to squeeze out an impressive 193.2bhp with a stand 0.6 bar actuator spring (boost was tailing off) on my hybrid CT9!
I'm beyond impressed with the service from these guys and will defiantly be returning when I decide to forge and get hold of a billet TD04! Cheers!
