Socks Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Fuck me he was tramming! Gonna be costly to fix... not only the car he will have to pay for barriers too! Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 seen this yesterday, not bad an effort lol Quote
StuDoc 72 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 WOW thats some pace. It looks horrific mind you thats probs the best way to crash. The fact he bounced off the barriers and continued moving without flipping probly saved his life though. Quote
Jamie_VF22 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Very costly mistake that hop he's ok thow , Them barriers aint cheap Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 aye the drivers fine. wee light car like that, i reckon the barriers would be awryt Quote
morgey Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) Thats pretty bad!n For every meter and height of barrier marked its something like 200 per meter per row of armco regardless of whether its damaged. My mate stacked his vts saxo there and including £2k for the car it cost him near on £6k for a few meters of barriers, removal (tow truck), clear up, storage and scrappage! (Track wasnt shut)That is going to be one costly accident as he bounced off a fair few barriers and almost certainly closed the track which costs extra! Edited June 3, 2013 by morgey Quote
Arnold Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 That's a mental smash. I'd be so gutted if I stacked mine on a track, one of the risks I guess! On the M1, the highways agency charge £1000 per metre to replace. I took out 10 metres of the stuff and offered to pay until I found that out, so went through insurance instead! Quote

Malcolm GT Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Nasty oneYou don't pay a fee if it closes that's a myth. Just standard recovery fee which is about 200euroThen how much barrier you destroy which is expensive! Quote
daniel_g Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Ooooft thats brutal. Be lots of folk have had their wallets emptied after doing that !! Quote
Critic Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 When I watched this my response was.. "fuck me.." Heard the driver is ok due to roll cage and seats, otherwise he wouldn't have been so lucky. Quote
