maddox710
What gear box though, final ratios are different between the 2 boxes?? I push upto 140 back with the ct9 on, on c52 gearbox
AdamB
The ratio's are the same, its only 3rd and 4th that are different. That said you may be able to swap a final drive from another C series gearbox.
Chesh
168mph and the gearbox give up will see if my mate still got video whole car vibrated when box maxed out
mikey4410
i love the serious pictures of the speedos showing speed and revs, great pics as it gives u an idea of just how high revs are at said speed as for the "paint" speedo.just wow, that did make me chuckle and i wana say well done to whoever took the time to "paint" that.soooo good.haha
goldenvtr
I hit 154mph and 152 via 2 seperate gps divices at around 6200 rpm on silverstone GP circuit with just over 300bhp a few years ago. to be honest i could of squeezed some more before breaking but aerodynamics of a GT is Shite over 130 and confidence lacks quickly at that speed, and with monster brakes the bias is front orientated and hence the back gets twitchy (not good at double motorway speeds even if on track) i seriously hope people don't do these speeds on the road! impressive as it maybe from an EP is damnright stupid (most semi performance tyres are only rated to around 150mph) Edited November 7, 2013 by goldenvtr
Chris Green
I got 135 in my N/A down a bit of a hill (on a race track of course), but that was in 5th and just hit the limiter.

morgey
the ecu's can be slow to react, my speedo was out, limited at 119 (112 GPS) if you were in 5th cruising up to it. but if going down a hill or held it in forth i could get 121 GPS before the limiter cut in, which was off my SR's clock lol
daniel_g
I just realised i'll have the limiter in the 85 then because am using a GT ECU, not that it makes much difference because 4paws are supposed to top out at 130 ish anyway :/
TurboTobz
That 85s crying out for a fwd conversion...

M.B-glanza
Is it worth converting your clocks to mph or is there a digital conversion you can do? Mine just goes wayyy of the scale with standard clocks ha..Also just to be clear were saying standard box is good for over 140? Am not really arsed about takin it up to that but its always good to know what your cars capable of.. mine runs 205bhp on a hybid tubby Mark, Edited December 15, 2013 by M.B-glanza
The Toffinator
Standard box is good for well over 140 mate, sure 170 is possible on these boxes i think?
