Good rear wheel drive daily for around £300???

Anyone have any good suggestions for a good rear wheel drive daily before I get my Beemer??

Had a look at a few mx-5s on eBay but was wondering if anyone else had any good ideas.

BMW e36 318is aren't a bad daily, loads of parts about and cheap.

If you can afford it; go for a straight 6 though. Even if it's the 2.0. More drift fun ;)

Well I'm gonna get a nice e46 In January so just looking for something extra cheap and thought a little RWD would be nice.

£300 for a daily, I would save for a while. Early IS200's can be picked up for about £1000 now, maybe even cheaper.

if your budgets only £300, you could look at some of the old volvos too.

I only want something to muck about in and get me 100 odd miles up the motorway each week for the next two months. Not bothered with how it looks just mechanically sound.

Volvo 940 se turbo. 2.3 Hpt, 190hp out the box, easy potential for 300. comfy as anything and pretty bullet proof.

Some even had lsd's as standard.

Best of luck getting something for £300, a cheap 318 is probably your best bet.

Down here In Devon every old BMW is about £ 300 because people don't wanna buy them, I sold my e36 m3 for £900 and was mint with 8 months ticket
