Not sure if its been covered guys, but which size wheels do you think are better on a GT / Glanza?

14" are obviously lighter in most cases, And a bigger wheel will absorb more power when it's being spun up.. This is power that could be used to accelerate the car.

But then there's the effect of gear-changes to consider. Bigger wheels give a bigger speed range for each gear (slightly). So long as the vehicle isn't power limited this can mean faster acceleration, as it's means gear changes occur latter, during say a 0-60.

Peoples thoughts?

I dropped from 15" to 14" but my off set etc mean the tyres I can buy are fatter width than my old 15" and the weight comparison was loads! I want acceleration but everyone is different, I found 14" much less harsh of a ride, if the roads were smoother I would go 16"

Im considering swapping my 16" for my 14" alloys, 7j down to 6j though :/

I've ran 16's all the time with zero problems. Ride is a bit harsh, but I love the looks!

This is from tonight. Excuse the filth!

Although I love them 16's I just got a pair of 15's for front. Gonna get me some fat as possible tires to help with traction!
