got the 5th gears off had to grind down the 3 legs on the universal pullers to get them of that went wel but fucked now on getting the bearings of the input/output shafts as there special design pullers so rebuild on hold till i come up with something

wel got the input shaft bearing rear done used the tripot on the 3rd gear hub it worked happy days but fuck it no joy on the output shaft i clamp on the gear under the bearing to help push it of but it wint budge think i need a much heavier puller !!!! and bar or get specialist puller for the groove on the bearing

made some progress today al bearings in yay happy days no way i am doing 2 boxes in 1 month bwhaaa fucking cunt of a job i forgotten how annoying it is and rookie mistakes made being so long ago sinds i did 1 ha ha opened the box 3 times in total

ha fuck me what a stupid mistake the 2 balls are from the reverse gear selector shaft i put them in and put box back together and everything works perfect happy days new gearbox is ready to be fitted

struts finished instaling ready to be fitted



dont buy el54 paseo top mounts they wont fit there a mill to small !!!!!!!!! going to file them out a mill so i can use them anyways


used my old topmounts for the time being

i made the conis fit the new topmounts ground them down 1mm so now these topmounts fit perfect 46£ for 2 new topmounts delivered cant go wrong

so after getting my clearance i marked the thicknes of al chims currently in the engine

doing so i was able to get most in the correct range few are still of so will have to order some new 1s to match

this is my next project few pics of the same thing but only testing to see max pixel vs the max 2gb pic upload from laptop so here we go



1 700kb 2 mega pixel


2 1.2gb 3 mega pixel

2mp comes up 129kb


3mp comes up 143kb


5mp comes up 170kb

these pics are strait from laptop




no mate i went koni inserts and i love it not like coils precise steering like you know but i spend 80% on very bumpy back roads and i can adjust damping when on the back roads im on 1/4 turn away from full soft and when i enter A roads i readjust to full hard i marked my chassi legs for the ref points



just waiting for the rear coils to #blow ( fc3s ) so i can go koni there to



i have MUCH more grip now shes going over the bumps not down tru them my kids arnt complaining anymore ( a good thing ha ha ) car feels much more planted , heavier on the road
