so went to the engineers and got the iat sensor measured and its m16 x 1.5 :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:



while i was there i got 3 bolts for 4 euros m16 x 1.5 tensile and used them as a tap as the tap kit is 30e just to use 1s went fairly well just a tat sideways bit of filing will sort that out no bother

thats sorted got my full rev range again ( almost ) over the moon much better then stock got the flaps constant open now for my top end


cant believe what for a choking hazard the stock 1 is compared to the acis

there's a few ways of controlling it



my way is with a rpm switch and 2vsv valves 1no 1nc



acis actuator spring reversed to handle boost instead of vacuum




also just ordered a 60mm tb from a american slut seems our starlet tps fits on it :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: to be continued

its only 10mm more then stock not huge in my opinion mustang v8 high flow tb



as our stock 50mm tb has 20% block in there by the 10mm butterfly shaft so going 60mm will net me ruffly a reall 50mm size tb if you get me

i got delivery of my new tfo35 chap said it comes from a genuine 63.000miles engine going by shaft plat ( non ) i kinda believe it will only know when its bolted on if it smokes or not as i had not much luck with the tdo4 i got on here that shat itselve ofter 3 weeks or so



i did spot 1 thing diferent the exhaust prop is located more backwards ??? going by my pic several posts back

This shit always happens to me with turbos, when i bought my tfo35 i sent it of to liamd immediately and he told me it would have fallen to bits and done my engine if id run it, cant trust anyone you dont know personally when it comes to turbos it seems.

why pay for machine work if the tdo4 core fits ?? ha ha 19t is to big on the tfo she will turn into a chocking hot air dryer like ct9



( correction thats only on the 4cm housing !!! ) on the 6 cm housing it wont shock up not what the stock engine can take anyways 1.1bar seems ok

tfo landed :) the 1 i got few weeks back is in much much better condition so going to use that 1 on my car and use this new tfo to make the td/tf hybrid



also my new exhaust gasket landed in the shop 21euros not bad as there not available in ireland of the shelf



tomorow my wurth inserts arrive so i can fix my head sick of getting gasses to death every time i boost hard
