  3. that ties in with my experiences pretty much Wallace, jay had cuscos on his trackstar that were, HARD. Local mate (sharkman) has meisters on his V, nice ride, similar to my BCs but then i havent done alot of miles on either to call either way between them. but the couple of cars ive been in with superstreets, have always left me feeling that they are the starlet road coilies to compare all others too, an absolute ideal in my mind. 2nd hand condition and rebuild costs for tein is however why i wont be switching from my BCs to them. lol Phil
  4. Tein superstreet are the ticket for a road/b road car, sound similar to the meisters. ive BCs on my gt and its actually realtively soft, i like it alot, nothing crashy or bangy. but thats not the same as wallaces opinion, so make what you will of it, made you can get different spring rates/damping/setup options, but mine def arent as severe as some Cusco/Trd sets ive sat in, infact that remind me of tein superstreets also lol Phil

  6. Id love a nice simple 2.0 bar mechanical boost gauge 60mm been trying to find/choose one recently and am tempted by the D1 spec one any opinions on D1 spec stuff? sounds like a cheap brand, but in reality any horror stories about their gauges? im not hung up on brands at all so long as it aint tacky im happy. Phil
  7. if you have got the money, knock yourself out wish i had lol if on the other hand your not loaded and you simply lack financial self control, then HELLO LONG LOST BROTHER lol Phil
  8. Sell up or carry on? CARRY ON FINE SIR. blat it about a b road safely and have a good smile to yourself! ps you have pm. Phil
  9. yeah i would plump for liam_d also. in the next 6months ill probably send them a turbo for a rebuild, ive spoke to Liam via PM and he has been happy to explain what is or isnt included in the different price options, and what issues will automatically hike the price, core needing certain parts replaced etc. getting someone open and honest about the service they provide is key for me. also any feedback/pics i have seen has been encouraging. Phil
  10. http://reallymeansounds.com/forum/threads/honda-b-series-race-tech-turbo-kit-%C2%A3375.162129/ seen this on my local forum and that it was a decent price. if anyone is interested sign up or i can send you the pictures from the thread. Phil
  11. sounds good GTR sounds ace also. Phil
  12. its a rev limiter, that may throw extra fuel/retard timing heavily as it does a hard cut of the revs. should help you build boost on the line, give you more power to light the tires. but their is no element of control beyond that. same with emanage ultimate setup. Phil
  13. Micky, understand you are alittle bit touchy about queries on the thread (and heck i understand why lol) BUT if you know off or have ran this ecu successfully with any particular setup, listing that would probably help your sale. its the complete unknowns that scare buyers away, if you give more solid sale pointers the right buyer could cough up the monies. Phil
  14. My engine slaps it tits off all the time. BUT been running fine for 4odd yrs so i wont be getting myself overly worried. and no i didnt build it myself, our home built baby was sweet as a nut, this slappy jalopy was a massive companys build attempt. but again i would hasten to addi cant complain too much as A) i didnt pay to have it built and its still runs grand. Phil
  15. revs kill rods power kills pistons or so the saying goes. also when ep rods do go, GT rods bend, glanza rods break, from what ive seen. though i have seen a broken gt rod. Phil
  16. he hasnt been online in 3 or 4 days does that explain the unanswered pms? im not sure obviously if you sent them before then. Hope you get sorted. though i do hope you havent jumped the gun with your negative feedback Phil
  17. 4efte crank has bigger counter weights. not the same. as for power, i dont know what it could take though id imagine any crap tune over 200hp will give it issues. Phil
