  1. well you got yourself a mug lol Phil
  2. Yeah they work grand but i wouldnt try running much more than a stock td04 on them, better than a mines/jam/bltiz etc Phil
  3. i should have known to be fair i must have been half asleep lol thinking of subaru turbo and his avatar is a td04 lol think of going big hp, but only then asking about a piddly wee td04. should have known, should have known for sure. Phil
  4. im absolutely lost now, LOL such a pile of it on here regularly lol Phil
  5. mate chill leave it open, report back with your findings etc, be good to see your td04 turbo search progress. as per Jim*s comment we might have found a real dim wit in the form of hughes21 lol Phil
  6. good man. ignore the trolls another thread another day another mood, it might be us lol Phil
  7. td04 turbo decent tune (even fcd fpr) and you will have your mates stock ep3 no problem. now go search td04 and you will genuinely see probably 100 threads in the last year and thousands from u-k-s-c Phil
  8. looks like a sera?! and a carina lol Phil
  9. the issue with braking it (not to ruin your plans for the bumper) is that Russ wants to stop spending all his time on the car, breaking a car makes it the focal point of life for at least a month probably longer! Phil
  10. well if someone comes in now with 2800 you'll have a tough decision to make but if nobody snaps it up today then have a serious think and maybe you can make a different move. Good luck with whatever you choose. Phil
  11. if you have the option of taking some time, speak to your tuner get a stock engine in there and stock turbo and let it go for 1500 quid it wont take long to shift. that way you have engine and turbo kit which is where all the money is, sitting waiting for the right mk1 ep82 or whatever your ideal EP is in a few years time. Phil
  12. garage it, park it/lend it to a mate i wish i had with mine. seriously the 2800 is nothing just a shot of cash. give it to a good mate and get him to pay you 50/100 quid a month until you want it back. there is 2k in the engine and turbo kit alone. to by a stock gt/V and take it back to that sort of spec would be mega bucks. Phil
  13. Yup mate sure is, ive got one here if you want it Phil
  14. The interior i.e front and rear door cards still about? Phil
  15. Awful looking. But never fear for the world is full of differing opinions. If you like it, enjoy it. Phil
  16. journal, not roller. VF8 drop me a pm sure guys. Phil
  17. what sort of dollar in a VF series turbo rebuild/refresh? Phil
  18. your abit big for a glanza Mat lol Phil
  19. Ive had cheap and expensive parts fall apart, i honestly doubt the difference sometimes. maybe im abit disillusioned with it all lol i would agree that if you have the money and you dont mind the more expensive parts will usually have a higher quality control in place. (though they may in essence be the same parts) Phil
  20. Looks good, still non interference out of cycle? Phil
  21. very nice, ive still a couple of RC10 B3s in the garage which would be a similar bit of kit only long long in the tooth! never had a schumacher 2wd buggy actually, closest schumacher was a old Cat 3000 4wd belt driven yoke (yester year also) stay off road its the most fun, then if you get mega competitive go 1/10 touring, starting out in 1/10 touring can be a bit of a put off as the top guys could be doing two laps to your one! (not that you could be one of the tops guys at your club i dont know you! just that the quick quick guys make it look easy whereas the offroad stuff seems to have alot more varied abilities taking part) might be all different now though havent raced in a few years. Phil
  22. im not sure, you usually get mountains of runs in for your 45quid as far as i know, just keep lining her up. the spectating is about 10er i think. Phil
