The heat we've been having recently has been making my GT unbearable to get in after work, stupidly hot gearknobs and steering wheels do not make driving a fun experience haha! We should get some UKSO branded foil sun deflectors to put in our windscreens made up ;)

Also depends if your idle is lower than it should be. I know when I was having idling problems, it'd drop down to like 600 at times and that shook the whole car.

Can't get the time off work for the Thursday! ((( May only be able to get Friday off from noon onwards which is a bummer. We'll see how it goes. Rob/John etc, my payment will be in next week.

Shocking. I bought an Ogura clutch release bearing from them back when I was getting the car on the road, and they kept me well up to date and were really good throughout the process, so to hear all this is surprising to say the least! It's just a shame that they seem to have a lot of parts available that you can't really get elsewhere unless you go via contacts in Japan and importers.

I could very well imagine the amount of red-tape you would have to fight your way through, I've read some absolute horror stories on the internet with regards to the US and trying to register imports legitimately. Would be cool to see pics of the Starlet at local meets and such!

Welcome! How hard was it to get it legal in the US? They're quite tough on imports aren't they? Or does it vary state by state? GT looks mega clean, enjoy her! It'd be interesting to see how well it's received by the 'import/JDM' community over there.

Ah right ok. Yeah, I'm planning on doing a full refresh of all the bushes etc at some point, just don't know when! With regards to engine mount bushes though, I'm glad I went for TRD, don't think I would have gotten on well with polybushed mounts truth be told!

What effect would that have on the car? I've noticed at times the steering on mine feels 'loose' and a bit vauge, and I'm just wondering if bushes need replacing upfront.

I think 4mm ID is your best bet, it's what I used to do various bits in my bay. Not sure how much you'd need though, 5 metres maybe? If you have any left over you could always use it for other things.
