  1. Wouldnt you have to match the front and rear diff ratios otherwise youll be dragging around the back or trying to over take the front.
  2. Yeah youd probably be looking at around 800 most the time but with some effort you could get lower. sound deadening can weight quite a lot, Decent lightweight alloys, I've saved 5kgs a wheel from that alone! The smaller things seats, steering wheel, manual windows or perspex instead of electric. Manual mirrors, Radio/speakers. Abs system, aircon, coilovers weight less than stock. Exhaust. Blah blah
  3. I think the on the road weight is around 840-860kgs area. Sunroof aircon eleccy mirrors etc all add weight. You might get a poverty spec one down to the 800kgs from factory. But as above with a diet. Then you can go extreme, i think one of the drag guys was around the 700 mark back in the day.
  4. Got a black door here if you wanted the other one ;)
  5. Someone bought it and didnt like them then tried to pull them off i bet Knew i should have held on to them!
  6. I havent decided yet. Was going to stick a nut on 1st then probably grind the end off so when you remove the nut it deburs and cleans the threads at the same time. The fronts on mine i was going to knock out and stick on the lathe and turn them down properly but thats only because its fairly easy to do that on the front.
  7. Yup, even 25mm you need to shave the very end of them
  8. Sr ones are kyb excel G gas shocks for reference.
  9. Its all going to depend on your wheels. Best way is measure your tyre to edge of the lip on the arch on the back. If you dont want to roll them then you need to stay inside that. As for the front thats much the same. But theres not so much of a lip more where the plastic comes down. Again the thickness of spacer you can get away with on the stock studs will depend on your wheels, some will have less meat between hub and nuts than others, meaning you have more stud protuding to allow for spacers if so required.
  10. Haha no not yet, getting it all done so i can actually enjoy driving it for a while before i sell it. I couldnt have sold it driving the way it was it was unsafe! Lol
  11. It they drive anything like the UK versions they are literally the shittest cars to drive or live with. 😂 These do look cool but id never own one.
  12. Jap91 I've hidden your comment, if you feel the need to leave negative feedback please post it in the negative feedback section. Thanks
  13. Your gaskets are spot on. What about some brackets to turn a oem glanza spoiler into a toms style one? Nothing i want but might be of interest to some others
  14. Facebooks the worse for it. The messenger app on there is set to automatically have your location turn on, or used to be anyway. Anyone who talks to you can see where you are when your message was sent. Just checked and it would seem that feature is now obsolete thankfully!
  15. This is before i hammered my studs home so was probablt about 30mm on mine. Theyre actually 25mm spacers Without With
  16. I just measured how far the tyre needed to come out to sit flush with the arch. Think i used a plumb bob. (Weight on a string) to get the line from the arch to measure to. I've got to roll my arches still so havent fitted mine yet
  17. Should have asked them for a selfie and posted it on facebook letting everyone know who the fuckers were. This will be a good advert for jdm-eps snap off steering wheel adapter though 😂
  18. Well i got this last week, Thought it would be rude not to have it really, plus its jdm scene point which is always a win 👍 Everybody loves Tom's stuff Got it fitted saturday morning which was a bit of a chore as the oem brace goes to the bulk head but because my car was poverty spec it didnt have captive nuts so had to whip the scuttle panel off to undo the nut and bolts. Havent really driven it in anger yet but id imagine its made a bit of difference as the bulkhead has a fair bit of flex in it so doubt the old brace was doing much lol
  19. Finally did some more to this today. Changed the handbrake cables wooo! Done all 3, which was a absolute mission the single front one was a bitch to get out and back in and all the bolts in the brackets on the cables broke so its just cable tied in place now lol. Also i followed someones guide to setting up the handbrake so if theyre not working now im going to swap back to drums 😂 Also test fitted my wheel spacers on the back. Current stance With a spacer but not all the way home, maybe another 5mm further in to go. Might get on with some brackets for my horns and PS in the nex
  20. Speak to sam nadeem on facebook mate he'll prob just come pick it up on a trailer. He breaks corollas so would prob have it. That or take it to an auction
  21. Could be Engine earth. Clean all earth facea or Run a fresh one from block to chassis to battery to be sure. Its a cheap fix/upgrade and may solve your problem.
  22. Use st202 celica gt carriers and you can use 275mm discs with levin twinpots
  23. Possibly, but not sure. Havent seen it advertised in a while so might be sold now
