  1. I need to get over to that toyota meet in ireland, so much awesome stuff there!
  2. The biggest issue we have is the shallow height of the disc bell. Astra 280mm discs fit with a spigot ring so would be a good option. so Assuming the calipers are a 2 piece caliper and mount you will be able to have a new mount made to fit starlet hubs with them calipers and a disc of your choice.
  3. So dent man came and worked his magic. Got rid of about 15 dents in total, 1 or 2 he couldnt do anything with but in general it was a huge improvement and ill get some before and afters sorted shortly. So im Going to try and have a productive day or 2 on this now, managed to fix my jack (for now) so can do a few bits I've been planning on. Full Service is top of the list - oil and filter - plugs - clean and reoil airfilter. Got a new alternator as mine packed up but it uses a larger terminal so I've got to open mine up to fit it, Also going to drop the ex
  4. Looks great guys. Really Liking the new layout and features!
  5. Saw the pics of these on facebook and the finish looked unreal.
  6. Congrats bud, look forward to getting my stickers now.
  7. Uk starlet are on the left. Not sure on swapping them over though but im sure with some jiggering about with the wiring they could be swapped
  8. Fenders are similar. Glanzas dont come with side repeaters stock but thats the only difference. For a front end swap just the 3 bits listed are required
  9. No worries ill give him the heads up incase hes planning on doing them soon
  10. Nice little motor mate. Yeah im still doing the stickers and have a few gel speedline stickers available still. If you're quick im waiting on my sticker guy to make a couple of sets of the SR decals. I could get yours done at the same time
  11. Thread cleaned. Memebers are free to price things as they see fit, as you are to buy them. If you think the pricing is too high then parts wont sell and the price will usually drop accordingly. This isn't facebook, lets try to keep it that way.
  12. The normal ones are back in stock for anyone who didnt manage to get there hands on a set of these.
  13. Just as another note. Dont use petroleum based grease on the sliders. You need to use silicone grease as the rubber will absorb the petroleum stuff and they will seize up.
  14. Stick the seal in first then the spring in afterwards
  15. Theyre mainly used in racing to keep the screens clear, and starlets arent really used much for that over here so no need.
  16. If you dont get a reply in the next say or 2 ill check mine as i got some red and amber ones for mine but im sure theyre silver coated.
  17. Bloke in OZ was using them in racing thats about all i heard of
  18. Look along the side skirts, they can easily conseal rotten sills. Generally they arent too bad for rust but they are 20 years old now and if water and shit has been sitting under them they can go. Been a few fuel tanks rusting out along the seam so look for condition of that. Knocking suspension components, not really much to these cars so an easy fix there usually. Look at reciepts, servicing on these is pretty key so oil and filter reciepts would be good. Also for me, has it got an air filter, quite a few of these are run without which personally i would avoid.
  19. Welcome back. What was the old user name?
  20. Welcome along, always good to have new members especially with such a nice classic like this.
  21. Well the car made JAE, got a good bit of attention which is always nice, great to meet everyone old and new as well. Had the arches rolled before hand and with a car loaded full of shit it didnt scrub at all so thats sorted. Not done anything about the rattles yet but will sort something when i look at dropping the steering column. Wired up the speed signal to the PS but it made little to no difference so looked into it further and there is a few other components to the full setup. So will get my hands on them and get them fitted to see if that sorts it. Steering pulling turned out to be a loo
  22. In the club store fella. £1.95 for the year
