  1. Not sure if i did a how to or someone else did but theres some info on here for it as i put one in on mine briefly
  2. Common mistake a lot of people make made even worse by people now selling knock off stuff and random car parts branded as jasma! the cobra section is obviously nothing to do with it though haha
  3. Jasma is a certification stamp, the number on it is issued to the manufacturer iirc 151 or 051 is hks so they will stick a jasma plaque on it with there cert number to say its approved for road use in japan.
  4. In most cases Caps are matched to the head, they are line bored from factory and can cause binding issues if not the correct ones. Could have a machine shop clock them all up, should think they could find any differences.
  5. Can get my hands on another 25 of these if needed. The first 10 sold pretty quickly so if theres still a bit of interest ill get atleast some of these bought.
  6. Right after a hectic few days getting both cars MOT'd and the starlet aligned, taxed and everything else i actually had the opportunity to drive to work in the thing. Now as great as it was it also highlighted some issues. * rear arches... scrub like f**k with the spacers so will be leaving that with a friend to roll them before JAE. Hes also going to look at the fronts whilst hes at it. *mr-S powersteering. Currently only wired in on a fixed supply so is very light at speeds. Going to wire this in to the speed signal and test again. * side note, steering pulls under load in
  7. Glad you're happy with them. Looks like ill have to get another load made up how quickly these sold!
  8. Thats already top of my list as well as getting a better seating position, the tool room manager designed a set for his mini so i might have to get a new PC and a copy of solidworks and set about designing something!
  9. Naa new place doing 5 axis machining so its pretty interesting
  10. Did you back off on the longer stretches just to keep temps down?
  11. What? I have a job now
  12. It failed, shitty rear discs, literally thee worst thing i did to this car! Just rebuilt a spare caliper to throw on there in a token jesture to improve the rear brakes. If this doesnt work anyone got a set of drums and cables floating around?
  13. Everybody has them stupid bits that they want or need or they have them floating around never to be sold, myself included so figured why not have easy to see topic for people to request parts that can be collected at JAE. So heres a list of bits i could do with All for EP91 Dark grey boot trim clips Very good condition Scuttle panel and all clips/fixtures Boot and seat back carpet. rear toyota badge. If you have any of these and are coming to jae shout up
  14. Well after the car trying its hardest not to make it to the MOT station i finally managed to make it there. Started it saturday moved it to wash it and check over everything prior to MOT only for the alternator to pack up and leave me running around like a madman trying to make a good one from a few old random ones i had only for that to fail to then borrow one of someone with a starlet and retro fit with a 5 v pulley from another alternator as my pulley is different for some reason! Anyway only got it for the week whilst mine hopefully gets repaired as he needs it for next round of TSS lol
  15. The outer pad is too far in. That needs pushing back in the carrier Then slide the carrier back on the slider pins
  16. Posted today. Last 3 might have sold too
  17. Ep8* models are about 20mm narrower overall but everything bolts on from any other. Not sure if the fixings are all there for the abs lines though
  18. 15 more available As above, the colour is a bit light but they match in size and have a reflective silver backing like OEM, great for anyone needing some for a spoiler thats been sprayed or if they started lifting like mine. I've had confirmation they fit TTE front lips now. I've recieved pics of one fitted but it wont allow me to upload it but ill sort it out when i can. £7 posted per pair or £10.50 for 3 including PP fees. Alternatively £3.20 each collected at jae.
  19. Only gone and booked a bloody MOT for tuesday!! Sorting insurance over the weekend and she should be roadworth by wednesday! She will be at JAE
