Like mentioned its usually the back of the water pump where it meets the block. When I've built engines I've just used an instant gasket material in there instead and never had an issue.

Bee*R's work in a different way to the omex as far as I'm aware. Bit more crude. I wouldn't run a Bee*R, last one i fitted to a GT it lasted about 2 1/2 days

Cheers bud. Been speaking with HEL Performance and they've sorted me out with a custom bit of line for the rear brakes so that will hopefully be here soon, then the engine bay side of that will all be finished too.

standard gasket is 1.2mm in both the fe and fte. If you want more compression the TRD gasket (0.6mm) is an option or i think the sera ran a 0.5mm gasket.

It won't be the cams as they won't jump it'll only be like that if they have been removed. Its if the timing belt has jumped some teeth which can happen it may give you a similar problem. Check the vac line to your MAP isn't split to, again i had a similar issue on one of Si's before and it was caused by that.

What do you class as lag? They're not bad atal - just use the gearbox lol. If you want response put a ct9 on it.

Not a massive amount to update...refurb'd and painted the thermo housing and refitted that with a new thermostat, currently doing the same with the inlet manifold so that will be back on soon as I've ordered all new gaskets for that too. My manifold plan has failed slightly, so just going with a nice wepr stainless 'godzilla' manifold. Should be done by the end of the month hopefully. Still need to get the box painted too as thats the last piece i need to do before the lump can go back in... i keep putting it off tho as i know its going to be a pain!

Nice What were you hoping to make? As near as makes no difference 300 on a td04 frame turbo isn't exactly bad!

If the camber on the top mounts is set wrong to your track rod ends you may have a certain amount of toe in/out. When i brought mine the front left was running positive camber with the right running neg. When i adjusted the left to match it was massively toe'ing in. Once re-tracked and setup for it it was fine

Hybrids shouldn't creep as the waste gate would be ported. Running stock boost under fuel cut will be fine. Just get it checked out tho to make sure.

It is a shame indeed. Scumbags. Unfortunately if someone wants to steal something, they can. Whenever I parked mine anywhere vulnerable I always pulled a fuse, wiggled a plug out the ECU a tiny bit etc so it wouldn't start. Won't stop someone switched on but will buy time for sure. If you buy a new car just make sure you have GAP lol.

No worries mate. I've never been defeated by an issue on a starlet so hopefully this isn't the first lol!
