What from the master cylinder to the brake line. Where did you get that made up. I've done braided at the rears but the lines are shagged and I was just going to make some up. Cheers for the input Olli.

Hello, So my incompetence refreshing the rear end has led me to now need to start from scratch the hard lines for the rear brakes. I have done all the small ones but by the looks of it I am going to have to renew the ones that run all the way along the underside of the car. To be fair they actually look pretty well corroded so it's not a bad should. Has anyone done this before? Presumably I am going to need to drop the fuel tank to get better access to the lines. And it looks like it is one long straight to, presumably, the master cylinder? Obviously I shall investigate further when the

They aren't chipped from the factory, but anyone that is chipped should be programmable . As said I don't know the ins and outs. But that's the gist.

I would have to ask my mate...

Do it! The components, other than the ECU should be easy enough to find. I still think I am right in saying, there are lots of P28 ECU's but only a handful which can be remapped! I don't know if that's true, but I think I remember my mate being chuffed when he found out he had that ECU in his Homemade Civic Turbo

Yeah that rings a bell. Cheers Morgey.

Haha very sick! Loving the take on this, refreshing to say the least Keep up the good work.

Very nice, those sorts of marks you'd expect from a car of this age! GLWS! -
I can't remember what Chip it is. But Honda D16 Engines you can get a rarish ECU, something like P20, which surprisingly is mapable. My mate has a D16Z Turbo with said ECU. But I am guessing. Best info would be from the D16 Forum. Those guys know their shit.

Looks great Welcome back -
Okay, I don't want to be negative. Firstly I consider the SR20DET engine to be the best engines ever built. There's no fact there. That's just my humble opinion. But not a massive fan of the body kit. For me. But it's clearly very tidy. And the chasis looks great. And did I say it's an SR20? Lol. Nice ride man! EDIT: Looking at some on Google, I actually take it back. This looks great!

Yes mate. Those photos sre so sick. Car looks really great in silver. Love the rear end of that GT. The colours of the lights are fantastic. Love the car man, love the photos keep them up!
-
True, but at least if it's on the paint you should be able to wipe it off haha!
-
Why's that then? Plenty of people powdercoat their engines. Chap on my forums done his cylinder and head.
-
No one went down the powdercoating route then?
-
Ah that makes sense.

But question is, what makes them weaker. And is there a way to strengthen them?
-
Easy for you to say. Your Micra was stunning!
-
Shit wasn't it! Lol. Don't worry I will get it resprayed lol. It will be mint....one day.
-
Cheers lads. Much appreciated for the support cause it's been a bit of a nightmare at times. Yes you have Ollie lol. You came over one day when you were in the Micra I was sat near or around my car. And I would always see you blasting around in the Charade haha! It most certainly has been a while though!
-
What makes the GT stronger than an N/A?
-
Not good! I think that is ready to be made into the coffee table.

Cheers Colin. Believe me she isn't. It's actually a little embarrassing to be seen in it it's in such a bad shape. I will sort it out though. When I bought the car I just thought "Well you know, first car, it'll get knocked about, I don't want a minter!". Not thinking that, actually, it's a sweet motor. And I do want it mint. So no doubt 2K hard earned cash will go in for a respray. I want to take it to JF with pride. Rockingham was crap, but just being amongst other Starlets was great. I'm always keeping an eye on your build to nab ideas haha!

I've had my motor for 18 months now and it was a project from day 1. Not really what I wanted for a first car, I'd rather it just worked. Or saying that, It did work, just was poorly. This here is a 1994 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo High Wycombe Special. These are rare models complete with dirty underwear in the boot! I kid you not. The lying gits didn't mention anything about the coolant leak until I went to pick it up. I should have walked away, the car was in a terrible state, one side rattle canned, the other side looks like it's been in a collision. Me and my Bro took one RAMP up t

Nice one Colin. I am too impatient with cleaning, I just pay to have someone do it professionally.
