  1. I went down to see this in person last weekend and it is VERY tidy! The photos do it justice but it is better in person. Would snap this up myself! I was GUSHING at the liquid cooled intercooler! Never seen one on a factory car before! http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/car_details.asp?ID=527# Worth a look!
  2. Dayum! Seeing as I'm a Developer, the logs will be all I care about. I run a raspberry pi on my car anyway for the media centre. So this would do nicely! Will have to keep an eye on this.
  3. You seen those Honda builds where the sleeves look as though they are actually touching. I remember reading once that he actually had a sleeve drop and destroy is B18 lol. Savage build though
  4. Wow this is really smart! Keep it up!
  5. Are they any difference in the UKDM vs JDM Hubs for starlets, and are there any differences in years? They look similar. Thanks
  6. Good little project this. I like the 205's. Also great car collection. Actually my dream setup, GT Turbo And an FD cannot go wrong!
  7. Such a shame. One of the cleanest EP's out there! No doubt will be sent to a scrap yard. Someone could be in for a treat worth of parts....
  8. What about the one that is strapped onto the chassis? Thanks
  9. Anyone know the best way to remove the bushes from the lower arms on my GT? Thanks
  10. Wow Charlotte! Looks stunning! Especially given the state you got it in. Good luck with the sale!
  11. So Many Tears Tu Pac Not going but it's gotta be worth an add!
  12. Yeah but on the flip side, you don't spend all that money on a Ferrari to then be ripped up by some chavey in a Honda. I agree you would have the Ferrari, but it's still funny.
  13. Mate that's totally fine. It would have cost you more to keep it than the money you would have got extra. It was a lovely car, I have no doubts you'll bite the bullet again one day in the future!
  14. You're both right aren't you? I thought the 4E engine was the economy engines, and the 4A the more aggressive road race engine? And yeah it's nice to hear what I've been thinking about the engine. Although sold mainly in the nineties, it was still designed with 80's tech, I read that the ECU has something like 16K of memory to deal with. To put that in todays terms a SHITTY computer from PC World woulds have something like 4000000k of memory. And yet they have some really clever tricks up their sleeves. I had someone asking me whos car would be faster, mine or his A1 TFSI 1.4
  15. Well lads, I took it to a specialist and they agreed that it's well past its serviceable limit, it's only good as a paper weight now...
  16. In need of the brake line holder that holds both offside and near side brake lines at the corner of the petrol tank.
  17. No, very wise to do the proper insurance thing! Volvos are great!
  18. Nah one for my car one for my brothers car. But absolutely spot on bit of kit.
  19. I have bought two of these. Amazing transformation for such a small piece. Glws
  20. Hi there looks tidy! Luckily these engines are really simple so you shouldn't get into too much trouble. If you need a standard Pan hard rod then I have one lying about that I need to get shot of. Just cover postage. Although to be honest you are not in need of a standard one. If it's been lowered then you need an adjustable one! Stick with the car, it's a lot more exciting than a MK4 Golf But it is an old car so expect a few teething problems. Once they're sorted though that will be a very grand car indeed
  21. Aww never Colin! Luckily it's you and you're not the sort of person to rip people off. I'm sure everyone on here can vouch for you. What a ball ache though! Wasn't this the OEM LSD Box? If so them bell boxes want to go head and find it, you tell them that's a rare JDM as fuck item! It's good point though, how do you l;ose something like that!
