  1. Sparkster when the engine is back out, port and polish the oem tb and oem intake mani, good gains where seen on my mates gt when it was done, then he whent to a custom intake wich a has cracked and shit itself more times than i can count just like most of the £700-900 crappy intakes.

Well done ed is turning into a real beast now you thinking 550's arnt man enough then?? mine was hitting 1.4 bar at 4500rpm, but turns out there have been 3 boost leaks so poor old turb was prob boosting like 1.7/1.8 seems ok though tbh. Not sure what the vf35 are like for max boost but my 24 seems strong obviously not boosting her much atm as the map is shite now the leaks are fixed. But enjoying seeing all the vf's graphs now just need a graph from bean too.

Rr's theres triton motorsport near bournemouth airport (they are a lil pricey at times) or milway workshop in andover who map mine. Or a rotary specialist in portsmouth who tbh are shite with anything non mazda! Oh and of course theres the JDmodified lads in basingstoke, who are frankly fuckin shit hot!!!! Pm ollie454 for info on them as he works there.   6. Awesome day!! Awesome stand!! Was good to meet a few faces. Didnt say hey to many peeps im afraid as i wondered off with my mates but met a few of you wich was cool cant wait for tye next one and im determined to get my v sorted not missing another track slot!! We got bk frm fest and spent a few hours back under the bonnet lol, aswell as the hour or so under the bonnet at fest!   7. Ran an exeedy 3puk paddle then when that died after 7k miles i went to a cap 4puck paddle wich lasted 3k miles so went to the ORK for the 400+ rating they have. So shud last but the jun and exeedy was a great combo tbh.

  10. was a bloody wicked day! my camera ran out so i only took like 3 photos lol. socks my hug was epic!! just what i needed was having a rough week on the run up and a few teething issues but the car was there even if it wasnt tracked like was planned keep the pics comming guys, and some one must have a vid of sparky on track!!!
  11. Cheers lads, had another chat with the mapper and he said hes certian its the exhuast, its a realy shitty bodged one tbh, i got for next to nothing off a mate. Its shcking though so im leaning towards this too. He said the hks evc will bring th boost in smoother when its set right but that the boost was still good and strong it just couldnt get it out once it had made it turning the turbo into a big compressor and backing up the air Socks ill take you up on the hug, im 5' 3" so will be a lovley embracing snuggle. Lol love my starbo but by god they try you commitment some times dont they!
  12. Right well, wednsesday day, me and a mate lnocked tye timing back a tooth just to fine tune it to the centere of the dizzy, to give the mapper plaenty off room to advance/retard as he saw fit. Gunned it all in to perfection, then off we went inside for tea and biscuits all proud and excited about thursdays mapping day. 3 hours i get in the car to go home and click nothing, shes dead, sounds like a flat battery, jump start it, wont start! So run a diognostic and get code 14 ignition system code! So drive to a mates round the corner and rob a few parts off his gt swap them over, still dead. So drive to jd modified and meet on of the lads there and whip some parts off jayep91's monster 5e glanza, get back at 11 at night bung the other bits on, nothing!! Ecu was still showing code 14 so swapped all the parts back to my bits we had taken off, then began the great hunt for why we had no spark and an error code. We worked till 4.30am slept till 6.30am sat in a daze and got back on it by 7am. We fixed it by 12.20 and jumped in and flew to the mappers. Still no wiser why it died or even wich thing we had done out of the many that actualy fixed it lol Got to the mapper where the car made 180atw @1.4bar wich if im honest is utter shite!! The mapper said its being held back however its looking like it could be the poor constructin of my front exit or more likley the fact the hks evc was not correctly set when he began mapping!! Not his fualt as he asked if it was set up or did it need doing to wich i switched it on and turned the dial to 1.4 and told him that would do i completly forgot i had not reset the hks and set it up for the mapping (i had only had 2 hours sleep in 2days) so its mapped, and runs but feels like its stranggled when you boost. So will be at fest shud still be on track then will be off to he mapper again for us to start right back at the begining!! Cant complain about the mappers they where good as gold stayed late to map it, and did me a deal on the whole lot. Spoken to a few guys clued up on my spec and we have all agreed we should be around the 320 mark so kind of bumed but after the last few days just happy its bloody running tbh. Remap will comence in the next few weeks!! Will get a new front exit madebup just to be sure it cant be that. And go in hunt of my 300+ power! Im gonna be shattered at fest but atleast the damn thing made it there well should make it lol will find out tomorrow!
  13. cheers guys all earths checked, all connections checked, just burning off fuel on the plugs, then whiping the efi out to clear excess fuel, then will hook her to the van and try and get her to go! fingers crossed eh
  14. dont think it can go on wrong tbh. swapped whole unit not just cap. every thing we have fitted is a confirmed working part. makes no sense? alternator had an oil bath from a bad leak few months back, looks messy still, you think the oil could fuck the alternator?
  15. right car ran fine, turned it of, checked timing was a tooth out on the cam, swapped it over gunned it in all fine. 3 hours later dead! wouldnt start. had no spark so, checked codes, code 14. swapped ht, dizzy, king lead, coil, ignitoer, efi fuse. starter motor. got spark but engine turns slow and wont fire new battery, wont start still slugish turn over, no fualt coeds now though also checked all earths and tryed with and without the buddy club earthing condenser hooked up. please help asap has to go to the mapper today!!!!! I've run out of ideas and gave up at 4.30am and started again at 7am

  17. Yea may have a have to try and dig out a set of fronts, my mate has some old hr's laying about so we may strip them down and put the ha springs on and build them up for now tbh. Just a bit of a downer day. Gotta love cars lol

FML!!! well went to the mapper turns out the dastek I've got is a type C and we need the type A ;) so had to order the new unichipQ+ wich will be in tomorrow and go back prob thursday to map it, to throw more adventure in the mix just went and had the yoko A048 semi slicks fitted to the front to cheer myself up and my mate has pointed out my 11k mile old tein is leaking ;) so now have to hunt down a rebuilder for the tein with less than a week befor tracking her! fucking starlets lol still needs to be done so here we go, nothing like a stressfull dead line to fuck all the plans up haha
  20. Neal gt's motor that the pp boys broke in tgere section had a speedvision mani modded tobexternal gate. Go ceck it out if youbwant some ideas. I nearly did it with my last mani but then decided not to, and shelled out for a whole new mani and decat anyway.
  21. Id get a quote on the td04 before buying all the bits for it dude. Keepin mods hidden from your insurance company is a big FAIL as your policey is void if you have a crash anyway! Soz to lecture but you implied not telling them and thats one of my megga big hates!! Im 27 and had to wait 5 years to get the car to the level of mods and power due to insurace costs! If its worth doin then its worth insuring!! Simples
  22. Had full suspension set up today, whent to protyre and had a chat with the lad there who is a vag fan so he knows what hes up to with decked cars and coilovers ect. Took two hours of tweeking but damn it goes well round bends! Mapping at millway in andover bud google dastek approved mappers and theres a fair few dotted about. Mqnifold fitted well-ish, needed to file down abit as it fouled pas pump bracket and the eg should be down by the gearbox but I've modded it all to fit it higher up. Grant uses the same mani qnd his fouled the same way. Made bloody well though tbh, wepr gear is solid as fook!!!!
  23. Will try and retro fit the oem one ;) cant be too hard to jig all the wires about and fab a new housin. Will see how it goes i guess
