  1. I haven't even got a turbo and it's rediculous. I use atleast £35 a week on petrol.
  2. I don't know if it's just local or what but it's gone up to like 108.9 per liter now it's fucking silly, a fiver used to get me a good night out of blasting around and now it barely gets me a night out if I crawl everywhere!
  3. lol what the fuck
  4. I have the same shock absorbers on my car, I'm not sure which springs you have on there I'm guessing the front are Teins? You wont be disappointed with them they give great handling and still quite good comfort.
  5. Obviously no one knows for sure because I haven't seen any dyno sheets or anything but I think the TD12 hybrid could get near 250, it uses a TD04 core and CT housing.
  6. Screeching is probably the alternator belt. I may be wrong but that tapping noise is possibly det, what fuel do you run it on?
  7. how fucking annoying that I write this then find a piece of metal that looks like a big staple in one of the tyres
  8. A few months ago I needed new tyres for the front, so after having Proxes T1S I decided to try the T1R. At £45 per tyre (including delivery) they are a very good tyre for the money. The first difference I noticed immediately other than the tread pattern was the softer compound. Here is the difference in tread pattern first the T1S and then the T1R: As you can see the "V" shapes don't go all the way to the end on the T1R whereas they do on the T1S. When driving there is a better "turn in" feeling with the T1R, it feels like they don't flex as much and they felt more grippy (the soft compound is probably the main reason for this). In the wet they were quite good, you just need to be careful when booting it round corners but as far as I can see it's the same case for most tyres. On a good dry day they are excellent tyres, very confidence inspiring and you get a nice squeal to let you know when you're nearing the limit. I would say they're probably good for "occasional track day use" but don't expect them to last too long if you're pushing it. Now the bad part, the downfall of these tyres is how quickly they wear down. I have had them for about 4 months and they are already on the verge of needing to be replaced. I do drive hard and I drive my car pretty much every day but even at that I would have liked them to last a bit longer, I would definately get these tyres again but I'm considering trying a different tyre, maybe the R1R. To sum it up - Dry grip: excellent Wet grip: good, unless there has been very heavy rain Cost: good value for money Wear rate: not very good
  9. Lovely GT mate nice rare colour and nice wheels, what are they?
  10. I was expecting some typical shitty BMX video but that was fucking insane! Makes me want to start rollerblading again.
  11. Spotted about half an hour ago on Chester Road North. Is it anyone on here? Or does anyone know of a silver GT with red mud flaps?
  12. nipples have to be showing or it doesn't count
  13. There seems to be a bit of a division with the ECU's; the people who have had success with them swear by them while the people who use Emanage don't like them.
  14. See what you can do with this mate, edit out the shitty cars in the background if you could, or just stick the car itself onto a nice background
  15. If you have the money, I'd go for the TD12 then. Of course it's extra power but it's extra cost with the external wastegate etc...
  16. Is your engine forged? If not, will it be?
  17. I hate the "odd coloured bonnet" thing unless it's an actual colour scheme or of course carbon fiber.
  18. hahahaha quality
  19. You should have said: well if that's the case I'll deal with the problem myself in my own way and it wont matter what I do to the thief because no officer is willing to come out then let them speak and as soon as they start speaking reply with: sorry I haven't got time to talk I need to find my baseball bat
  20. Personally I wouldn't go down the FCD/RRFPR route.
  21. GT spec Hybrid as posted already + SPS manifold http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index...._item&id=37 + save up another hundred or two and grab yourself a plug & play ECU = job done.
  22. Might be up for this but can't see that far into the future. Where abouts is it?
  23. While we're on the subject of intercoolers I've heard of people taking out the rear window sprayer and using it as an intercooler sprayer. Anyone tried it?
  24. I think the idea with the HDi kits is that they are designed for the 98 spec rather than the early ones. And then people with early spec bumpers buy them and cry about the cutting... I heard HDi were making a kit specificly for EP82's aswell?
