had a go with a standard s3 , i was running 0.5 bar on a td04,no map. quite evenly matched, he was a bit quicker but not by much.

with no supporting fueling mods i would only go for 0.5 on td04 on stock ecu. still will be lean on spool but will be ok.

try droping the engine a bit more, if you have a jack underneath it.

if its standard, mobil 2000 ,semi synth, 10w40 you can get it from halfrauds

how many are you planning to fit?

i think if you take it to somewhere decent then they will be able to re-lacquer it for you. they sand the area with fine sand paper that will only remove the laquer and not the paint, then they will re-lacquer it.

on the motor way you will get good MPG around 45-50, but local driving they are not so good, never seen above 38 (only town driving).

^^ that explains that your new discs are naff, after you hit a high speed the start touching the pads causing vibration. Im telling you that its them, my old man had same problem after fitting new discs and changed them and it solved it.

have you tried putting standard discs back on and seeing if it changes anything? (if you still have them)

yes this can happen through discs if they are warped.

depends on where you go but 90-110 is going rate here had mine done for 90 little while back.

jack up the car and hold the wheel 12 clock and 6 clock and give it a good wiggle pulling towards yourself, should be solid. spin the wheel and listen for any rough rubbing type of noise. you can also take wheel and calipers and brake discs off and spin the flange and see if there is any movement in the flange or noise. i would try the first method as it will not take long to do. the second one if you are unsure.

I do believe that is what gives that extra roar over other induction kits. Seriously people use to think I had a exhaust on my car, when i would give it a burst of throttle lol

the one that i have looks like this on the inside and you need to mod it a bit as well. this is the hole for the temp sensor, cut off vacuum port and make the hole a little bigger

Used it many years ago but you have to get one with the fins inside because the sound is awesome!! some people thought i had a exhaust, but it was pure induction roar http://www.weapon-r.com/index.php?act=view_product&id=133 needs a bit of modding with the airtemp sensor and the rubber joiner should be replaced with silicone one, but thats about it i will get a pic of the one i have. well worth the monies in my opinion

wheels look awesome -
you dont need a fuel pressure regulator on a td04 with 0.5 bar the standard ecu will fuel fine just been lean on spool. if the plugs are not the problem the next thing I would change would be the FPR.
