cold starts on starlets really bring down the mpg. if your doing a lot of short trips expect mpg to be around the 25-30mpg mark. it takes a while for everything for warm up and fuelling to start to get to normal most with mixed driving will around get 33-38mpg
gotta agree with morgey on this one. 50 profile is the one i would go fo better in terms of ride, handling and price. look are the only thing thats debatable
have you tried blocking the wax stat that is under the throttle body? there is a hole inside the throttle body at the bottom. start the car and block it with your finger and see if makes any difference. there is also another hole on right which goes to the idle control screw on the right. block that at the same time as see if it makes any difference. make sure idle screw in screwed all the way in. can you put a picture of the throttle body up at the moment want to see whats going on with the little vacuum ports
picked up one of these from a local parts store. £5 cant go wrong. you will have to take the splash guard off and unscrew from underneath. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/215mm-Oil-Filter-Chain-Wrench-Remover-8-5-Fuel-Strap-Removal-Tool-/251274561422?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3a8121878e
For the meantime don't use the handbrake and leave it in gear instead when you park. 1st or reverse. The chances are that that you need new cables. But also check for leaking cylinders, brake fluid ok?
ignorance when people talk about something thinking they understand it fully, when they obviously have no idea and base there opinion or argument on pure IGNORNACE
at the moment it looks like its only running off the actuator because the manual boost controller and the greddy control valve are not connected properly from what i can see. take the manual boost controller out and connect to the greddy control valve
