  2. Chances are if you fit the original efi induction pipe back on, it will no longer boost creep...
  3. Has it got a front mounted or meshed filter and a decat? This combo often causes boost creep.... on ct9's

  5. Gutting hope u find a good home for the S! Yeh, when? What was you in? Chances are the CT9 that's on it will be goosed, cracked around the gate port... Causing boost creep. So previous owner has wound actuator right out to try and stop it creeping too much... Causing your shite spool!

  8. Map Sensor possibly? Check the vacuum line to it.... Shuddering will be a possible misfire and that could be anything, but if it suddenly happened... King Leads can be bastards for it...
  9. Looking good Dan! I hope this doesn't lead to the sale of the S tho! Its a minter! There too fun not to own! Either of them! Be careful with the FCD, if its hitting fuel cut, sort this out, don't remove the protection. Or your going to be ending up with blown pistons!

  11. What wideband have u got and what does it read on boost?
  12. Is it 100% a td05.... Look at the stamp on the turbo make sure it defo says td05... 1.6bar is a lot of boost for 280bhp... It must be running very rich if there isn't an issue!
  13. 1.6bar is a lot of boost pressure.... Sounds like you have an issue/serious restrictions? If injectors are being maxed. A set of bigger injectors and going back to a mapper to see what they can do would be a wise move!
  14. Right... well first off it may be worth calling TD or a previous owner, asking what it was max'd on... During the remapping session they may have maxed something... Be it injectors possibly? A TD05 is good for 320-330bhp so the turbo has plenty more to go yet... No Need for changing cams until 360-370bhp... No Need for changing inlet manifold until 350bhp... A full 3inch exhaust system front to back, could help free off some power top end and help with spool too! But before you start doing any of that, you need to find out what the car is currently maxed out at...

  19. Cheers Chaps.... Car has done very little since JAE, gave it another rinse and took her out for a run on Saturday to make sure all is still well... Working my ass off at work to save up to get her finished off. Over Winter Finishing me thinks... Contemplating taking the engine out too, to restore the engine bay and give the engine a clean... Just my thoughts atm, nothing in stone! Few Snaps from Saturday....
