that carbon bonnet will look awesome when the weather gets better and reflects off the weaving... looks great dude, looking forward to seeing it! it needs a varis or 98spec front bumpoer tho imo! i hate 96 spec fronts! im also not a fan of the amber fronts, but its your car and modifying it how you want it is what makes it unique and stand out right!? Keep it up dude! PS also a lil tip on green engine bay... roose do a full kit avaliable in green... but get the hose kit first then get paint to match the hoses.... dont paint the rocker then buy hoses that r a different shade cus it will look gash!

hey chaps... after the part numbers for a 96-97 front foglight units! done a search and can only find 98 ones! lol

old mesh was weak, scappy, chipped and dented and had faded! so out with old and in with new! looks sexy now! gonna use same stuff on bonnet! also going ot be giving the bonnet a coat of matte black high temp paint on inside. since my turbo is going to be top mounted, gonna be a very hot turbo very close to the bonnet!

the stock actuator will just allow the wastegate to open matey... get yourself a HKS jobbie and remember it wants to be tight on the connector so u have to put a bit of pull on it to et it on and go from there dont let it worry u, easy fix

the problem is.... the metal catchs on, metal bonnets are welded on... very strong... on carbon or frp bonnets, there glued on... now remember, heat, vibration, age.... are all things against that glue... personally i would not risk it, if u cave the roof in it'll write off your car!

yeh i thought it was too... anyways i woke up this morning and decided i wanted a full respray... how weird is that! So ive started stripp down some of the car bits and bobs and its going off to the bodyshop today! Ive been given a timescale of 2weeks which isnt bad Main reason is, color matchs are a pain and they are never 100% under every lightening condition and the car only has 1 dent and i want it sorted, so the car will be MINT... just thought id tell you all! haha

£330 for full strip down, new bearings, new syncros, clean, new magnet, reassembly, resealed. Which i dont think is too bad, but I know for a fact its PERFECT now, with written documentation that it was overhauled, it has a LSD and it will be able to take the power i want to run through it!
