Cheers Chaps! Loom is done on the engine bay side now. Just need to finalise my choice of ECU and get a connector pinned! So many wires, that are coming into the bay hidden via the passenger side wheel arch. Continuing on driveshaft's this week & starting turbo kit soon!

For the sake of £3.... Its something id treat as very chuffing dangerous if it comes loose or out of balance like that... Hence why drag racers have to use those flywheel blankets...

Engine doesn't need to be in any particular position.... as your not altering timing.... Just make sure you use NEW flywheel bolts and torque them to the correct settings. you DO NOT want that coming loose believe me!

will standard fe dizzy n ht leads be good enough on a turbo setup?
Socks replied to drongo boi's topic in Ignition & Fueling
dizzy wont work.. the leads are same, however the turbo versions use a king lead... unless u mean to turbo a 4efe... in which case yes they will... -
Cheers Chaps. The boys at Race-Tech are doing a sterling job, as always! No I really cannot wait to drive this car now! Driveshaft's are on going atm. There taking measurements carefully, to make sure the shafts are going to be the right length to go though the full motion of steering lock & suspension travel! More goodies from the states too... Custom Half-Shaft to work with the MR2 Turbo E153 Gearbox and bearing/mounting adaptor to mount up to the 2ZZ-GE Block. Going to be such a strong drivetrain even had Ricky a little jealous himself

who pays the fee when using paypal?? seller or buyer??
Socks replied to iamlegend's topic in Lifestyle General
I ask for the 4% or gift it.... Why should the seller pay for the fees for the buyers protection? If the buyer wants protection, they should have to pay for it, imo... -
For Sale as of 04/04/16 - Much Loved 98 Spec TD04 Glanza V

Approved... I have known dave for the entire time I've had my glanza. His care and level of cleanliness he keeps his cars is second to none! Shame to see this is going Dave. Thanks for not breaking it! The new owner will NOT be upset! -
Youd be surprised.... Depends what you mean by the term "useable"

Yeh Shaun, a lot of work for no reason other then a clean look. I'll do a tidy job with them, but I wont be modifying the core haha. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lots been going on this week, havent had a chance to update this, so here we go... The Rocker Cover got removed for a few things. A Pair of brand new Toyota Lift Bolts were fitted (known to snap and only cost a couple of quid), new rocker cover gasket. While the cover was off, I had alot of the unnecessary mounting lugs and brackets removed. Then two further uneeded ports were cut out and replaced with a large AN fitting ready for a decent breather system. However the crank breather system on this engine is much better then the 4E-FTE (which didn't have any crank breather at all), so no other Breather Fittings should be required! The chassis legs are all cleaned up and painted now too. Protecting all the new bare metal... The engine was then fitted back in again for the last time! Drivers Side Mount all finished and mounted up and the new tensioner all tensioned up... Then when the engine was back in the linkages could then be fitted. Not felt this box yet, but apparently the gears/setup feels good! So the bay is pretty much there now, the mounts are all done and the setup is now mounted finally. The engine bay is looking really good now its coming together. The high temperature protection is now also fitted to the firewall, to try and keep the heat contained, as sidewinder manifolds are large! Next Up, is Brake & Fuel Lines & Custom Driveshaft's! Ooossshhh, Bang Tidy!
