There are two tuning guides for the 4E-FTE up in the Wiki section with step by step progress on the best and safest way to boost the performance of an FTE....

It requires a complete engine strip down to change the piston... If it hasn't damaged the bore.... Best bet is to get a replacement engine, go from there...
