  1. Deffo get a new bulb if you can. They get mega dull after 15-20 year of use. I was thinking about trying some leds too....but a couple of dudes said that they ended up frying some of the copper strands on the circuit board with them?
  2. I posted up about this a few days ago..... http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/83881-neo-wedge-dash-bulbs/ So far I can only find them at my local Toyota dealership for £9.50....most expensive interior bulb in history lol
  3. Will the owner of the best looking Glanza on the forum please stand up!!! Looks amazing bro

  5. Does anyone know where i can get a neo-wedge dash bulb from? Its the bulb that goes behind the heater controls on a gt. http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/lp-70/14v-neo-wedge-base-lamp/1.html Went to toyota this morning to get one and they wanted nearly a 10er for one. Looked everywhere, halfruads, motor factors and maplins, but still no luck.
  6. yeah the bread van look of the ep3 isnt for everyone lol. That said with a few subtle exterior mods, I think they can look cool. Go and test drive them both and let us know what you think!
  7. Drive one.....especially on track and you'll understand why they are a lil overpriced for a 90s hatch. With the right driver, they're extremely capable cars.....I didn't realise what they could do until I took mine on track and was blown away.....handling was awesome. The only thing I found to be pretty annoying after I sold my old GT and got one, was the lack of low end torque. The B16b really needs to be worked hard to get the best out of the engine......Vtec engages at 6200 rpm.....Below that they're pretty gutless. For some people, its fun keeping it on the boil all the time to get anywhere fast....but for others, it gets a lil tiresome. As AdamB said, if its a daily driver, consider the k20'ed ep3.....really nice car to live with on a day to day basis....comfier, more torque and the bonus of a 6 speed box. That said I'd still pic and ek9 all day every day out of a GT, Glanza or ep3. You could always sell your b16b and drop a b18c in there, or even turbo your b16b. I know a couple of ek9 lads that have done this with good results. Either way, go and test drive one....sure you won't be disappointed. You can pick the pre face lift ones up for good money these days....just have to look around. The Face Lift models are still pretty steep though. HTH - If you need any more info....drop me a pm

I need a couple of bits for my GT. 1. Passenger and drivers side door pin switches 2. Interior light cluster. Must be in good working order. Let me know what you've got.
  9. Looking good man.....what were those rims on your GT?
  10. I was replacing the bulbs in my dash today on my Gt, using this guide. http://austarletclub.com/index.php?/topic/3862-restoring-lenschanging-cluster-lights-ep82-older-style/page-3 But I cant figure out how to remove the bulb behind the heater console. Any ideas?
  11. Sounds cool as!!....I want that Justy/swift. Had one for my first car too...really cool cars. Good any more vids or a link to a build up thread it?
  12. Received my stuff today...well packaged...exactly as described...and good communication...thanks man.
  13. True, but you did similar.....and aired some of your gripes with the seller on your thread when it happened to you?? At the end of the day, I assume Jacob like many others would have trusted Socks 100% as a seller....he is a Mod on here after all. I think many others will agree that this seems to be happening way too much on the forum at the moment. People shouldn't not have to resort to posting a thread up about being done over...only for the seller to think "Oh Shit...I better sort this before it ruins my rep". Which seems to be the case here. No ones likes to done over let alone ignored...especially when you have spent your hard earned. Either way, I'm glad they both managed to come to an agreement and get it sorted!
  14. Thanks H_D Do I need any specialist tool to remove the filter? How comes you need to prime the engine? Another member said to do this after I've installed my td04 too.
  15. Has anyone got a tutorial of how to do an oil and filter change on a GT? I've had a look on the forum, but can't seem to find one? My mechanic usually does them for me (hes away atm), but I wonna have a go at doing it myself. Also is there any main differences between a Toyota oil filter and a motor factors cheap filter?
  16. Dyou have any pics of this? I'm fitting mine in a couple of weeks, and slightly confused as to what goes where.

  18. I sooooo need these also. Foggy, do you have to remove the clocks and speedo cable to replace these bulbs?
  19. Get a couple of mr2 ones off ebay dude. Always readily available on there. You may need to switch the plugs around...but easy enough to do.
  20. lol Cool...I lived out in Sydney for a while . I've got friends out in Brisbane......Caloundra in the Sunshine Coast. I wish I would have seen some starlets like yours while I was out there ....just mega cool evos, and scoobies.
  21. Welcome in man. Where abouts in aus are you from?
  22. Got some parts of Azz a couple of weeks back....there was a bit of a delay due to the courier (No Fault of Azz's), but he kept me posted daily, which gave me peace of mind given some of the things that have been happening lately with dodgy sellers. Anyways, received my parts, extremely well packaged and exactly as described. Buy with confidence from this dude guys! Thanks Azz
