Anybody know if all 4AGE engines use the same sump? Reason being, I'm looking at buying a Corolla off PH...it's quite cheap and has a 20v Silvertop conversion so should be a good car. However it has a few bad points, one of which is that it needs a new sump. 4AGEs are in all sorts of cars, so I was just wondering if a sump off say a Carina or Corolla GT would fit on this, even though its the 20v engine PS - Hope this isnt a proper stupid n00b question lol

Almost right! Unless its changed...17-21 you can take the test and be restricted to 33bhp for 2yrs from passing. But yeah direct access for over 21s is the best bet and as you say Nazzurro you can ride anything once passed! The restriction period is complete HORSESHIT though, the police can refuse to accept a restriction certificate if they have reason to believe the bike isnt restricted.
