    piston question

    If you take your head off there should be 1 number per cylinder stamped on each piston crown this number represents the piston size above. If you look on the block face to you will see the same number that's on each piston stamped on the block, we have also had a few engines were it's had 3 x number 2 and 1 x number 3, these tend to be on the Mark 2 Gt engines.
  2. Don't drive it dude what ever you do, you'll find you'll need new carriers, the calipers will prob go again unless there fubard to.
  3. 100% oil pressure gauge decent tires. Toto t1r and anti lift kit rear anti roll bar c pillar not important. Might be best getting your bottom end checked and reshelled if it's needed. We check chesh last weekend and it wasn't knocking but his power stroke shell was right Down to the copper and just started to pickup. I will take picture Tomoz of the damage
  4. Transformed it already mate, it did look lower than that at japfest though.
  5. I beleve forged engines are noisy from cold and go quiet when warmed up. But this might just mean it's noisy untill warmed up.
  6. People are struggling to sell glanza at £1750-£2k there's a few in the forsale section I know it's a rare colour but it will need a fair few parts by the look of it and for you to find it's got more damage than there making out or the bottom end goes 5mins down the road

  10. yeh if you seam weld the cage to the bar should be fine onece it been posted though the hole it will be fine
  11. yeh yours will have it mike. its a mixture of things it a support for the seat its a crash bar and its a b post floor stiffening bar so does quite alot really, i cant imagine it would harm cutting a small hole in it but if you go to big it will weaken it

  19. Yeh after seeing yours go at just .6 I'm really debating it, just on to a guy on tgtt about a forged engine at the mo.

Thing is my engine is the oringinal low milage engine done 38k and it's never been apart :s so it just goes to show any engine can go at anytime it's just one of them things, not got the car back yet, will get it wednesday so will start the strip and rebuild process. Might be selling a few parts to fund it though not sure what yet maybe the 3rd rev Gt hybrid. As it's only done 1k
  21. Air as it is is an insulator so the more you have in your cylinders the more resistance it creates, it could be the gap but more likely the leads ahave started to break down or dizzy and rota cap needs replacing, check king lead for rubbing on intercooler pipe.

  23. Eml FTW!!!! On toms vid lol. The rev limiter I've just bought has launch control just need to wire it in and get a switch for the clutch pedal. Looking good Lew, can't wait to see this and how it does round the track.
